OMG2 (BIASED) REVIEW | Totally Unexpected Package from Bollywood !! | Akash Banerjee

Just because a film has different content from the usual content Bollywood has, does not necessarily make it a great movie. The movie's content I felt was poor, today in 2023 I don't know if poorly funded schools do NOT have sex education. It was there for us back in 1995 and our school was not even a top school. Though it never glorified or showed that masturbation is absolutely ok to indulge in. I feel the topic of masturbation was 'smuggled' in and was justified saying that Hindu or Sanatan Dharm encourages it. It does not. I dont think it is made such a big fuss about in todays time. It was highly exaggerated in the movie. While it is not a crime, it is something that can be counselled to young boys and girls about what it means spiritually and what it means from a naturalistic perspective. Both sides need to be shown. The movie failed to show this. The real crime in the film was the boy's privacy which was invaded and a video was done and made viral. And most people know about this crime today but it was never highlighted in the film.

I liked this movie and I was liking the review but when he mentioned kerela story I got his motive.. and ironically he is talking about biased cinema 😂

OMG 2 was a pathetic ending to the OMG duology. It completely disregarded the plot elements that made the first movie a hit: a large problem that people can connect with ( earthquake, for example, not Shiv coming to save a boy who had masturbated), a faithless man who challenges God, a character who might or might not be God, we must never know (yeah even OMG should have kept the suspense) and championing Hindi as the language of "our" culture and English as "modern villainism". Also, the well educated woman villain vs the "unpadh" Pankaj Tripathi. Unbelievably shallow movie. Watching OMG 2 made me realise how repulsive religion has become, I've been a theist without any kind of parental influence, I was deeply invested in epics and mythology. Religion, reverence was something close to my heart. But the way that BJP has misused hindutva, snatching it away from people like us, is deplorable. It's like, hindutva has become a BJP propaganda without it being a personal choice anymore. One can no longer be a theist and feel okay about it, saffronisation has made it so ugly.

I generally don’t watch mainstream movies but after this review I watched it and it’s an absolute masterpiece. Very subtly the facts were kept which are tabooed over generations.

Absolutely right Deshbhakt. All citizens should see the film with family. It should be made available in all languages sir that the message will be known right.

Spit on indian sex-negative culture

1. Censoring this content shows, India have very limited freedom of expression.

2. Religion considers premarital sex as sin. Read Bhagavad geeta or Quran for reference.

3. Indian society oppresses basic human rights to have sex.
4. Law enforcement intentionally don't care about the sexual oppression as they too believe topic related to sex should be taboo.

5. There are double standards, if religion can be practiced publicly then why isn't PDA allowed, why does low IQ indian society moral police others?
If PDA is obscene then, religion is also very harmful and disgusting for some People in public. Why religious practices aren't banned in public till now?
