Im late to the ballgame but find myself rewinding to relisten to everything he says. Brilliantly display of knowledge.
ОтветитьWhat episode is this?
ОтветитьHuberman equipped me with the necessary knowledge to understad more in depth people like peter attia and paul conti.
ОтветитьBrilliant to have someone dedicated to translating scientific research results into plain language practical tips almost everyone can use to improve their lives and the lives of others. It always annoyed me that so much academic work has been hidden away in obscure journals behind paywalls and in ivory towers.
ОтветитьI'm fascinated by this content. I found a similar book that was a game changer for me. "A Life Unplugged: Reclaiming Reality in a Digital Age" by Theodore Blaze
ОтветитьWhat an incredible conversation. Definitely give some food for thought around the resistance i feel in completing my studies after a stressful work day.
ОтветитьThe irony is not lost on me that I've had to replay the same middle section of this video 10 times to absorb the content as I try to multitask while working.
ОтветитьIn regards to the eye movements etc, I wonder if this is how hunters dealt with and could hunt compared to the farmers etc? Atleast some relation 😅
ОтветитьAnd then started to listen to this lecture and absolutely loved the intro with being my first time listening to his background on a personal level. But as soon as we got into the acetylcholine i was thinking how does this work differently with me and ADHD?😅😅😅
ОтветитьOmg these two looks like twins😮
ОтветитьGreat conversation. Nevertheless, a comment made by Dr. Huberman that we humans are the only species capable of neuroplasticity is an extremely anthropocentric view. And, it is not based on science obviously. How many organisms have been subjected to neroplasticity studies following their own natural behavior and within their natural habitats? I would guess, not many. There are lots of very smart animals; crows, octopus, whales, dolphins, elephants, and many more, even fungi might show “neuroplasticity”.
ОтветитьEven a few seconds of meditation
ОтветитьAmen. Agree about not analyzing.
ОтветитьAgree about time. Contact is my favourite movie.
ОтветитьI wish your table was shorter. Seems not as intimate when so far away
ОтветитьThat’s what Batman did
ОтветитьWarrior

ОтветитьNothing against Andrew Huberman (he's great), but I don't understand how his path would be considered "unlikely" by the host LOL Yes, he hung out with an alternative crowd, but the fact that his dad was a scientist and he had people from the ivory tower around gave him an extraordinary amount of privilege. Those experiences with skaters, his family life after the divorce, and his struggles definitely explain why he is so much more in touch with people though. But who knows, this comment probably says a lot more about me than anything :P
ОтветитьCan you please provide a reference to study from 60s you referred regarding feelings: mild anger and frustration that was people in experiment were choosing time and time again
ОтветитьWhat are some examples of internal rewards
ОтветитьFocus is the key
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьThank you so much for this. These lessons literally help me a lot!
ОтветитьThey mentioned David couple times but which one? David Eagleman?
ОтветитьThe host has a similar voice to Joe Rogan
ОтветитьI wish you could do a podcast on vestibular issues. Vertigo/ tinnitus and how not to fear it.
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьExcellent podcast. I will definitely rewatch this one!
ОтветитьNever tell other people what your plan is because if they have self doubt within themselves then they will project it onto you and cause you to doubt yourself also, in a sense their "spirit" is possessing you.
ОтветитьYou know why cavemen used to drag women around by their hair don't you...?
Because if you drag them by the feet, they fill up with sand 😮
😊😅😂
Where can I find this research on the gold stars?
ОтветитьThis video put me right in a deep sleep. Thanks
Ответитьi think this podcast just changed my life
ОтветитьThis is very well explained😊
ОтветитьNo some of the most successful people have silver spoons in their mouths and have endless pockets to retry bullshit. There are very rare few traumatic poors who ever get anywhere and that's baked into the system. Get to the point. God I want class war.
ОтветитьAndrew is my Internet crush..awesome to hear his story today.
Ответить"You guys"; "you know"; "uh" -- This lacks FOCUS.
ОтветитьOh, not this guy again
Ответитьi remember 3 years ago i searched something like how to rewire the brain and this video popped out. seeing now Andrew can reach so many people and literally all of my friends follow him, its incredible. this interview changed my life.
