This is the residual effects of men elected to powerful positions who use war as an extension of politics and paranoia.

My wife and I bought the bracelet for MIA Richard Spaulding in 1975. We never heard if he was found.
Forty thousand men
Went out to fight
When 40 Statesmen
Thought it right
Had 40 Statesnpmen
Fought and died instead
There would have been

As a retired Senior NCO it blows my mind that none of the "leadership" in this Marine's unit had accountability of him during the medical evacuation or the redeployment of his unit. That is gross negligence on the part of his entire battalion chain of command.

The Marines showed me how to survive in War… I took it upon myself to do my best… For Corps, Country and Family….I was a Combat Marine in ICorps… And thats what I’ll always be…. Semper Fi LIMA-2-BRAVO 3/7

If I remember correctly at the signing of the Vietnam treaty 1973 and after U.S. Government tried cutting deals to give up our U.S. Honorable Soldiers .

Their were three Marines left on an Island during the Last battle of the Vietnam War it was in Cambodia in 1975 , I wonder where was our president G. Ford or his buddy H. Kissinger ? Or Sec. of the Navy ,or Sec. of state? Or Some officers from the Ships out in the South China Sea? Were was all that honor and duty and respect that was not given back to those three alive and well Marines who were left to fend for themselves ? Ford got an Aircraft Carrier Kissinger was so hard to understand even speaking English but an attempt to get those three Marines back would have given me some form of respect for any of those in authority, But no one thought enough of them to Man the fuck up and help them ! My Dad had to sign for me to join as I was only 17 he said I was foolish and guess what He was right ! My executive officer screamed at me for getting myself and two friends off a Sand pan that was going back to Saigon , he ask me If I thought he would leave us ? I shouted back I'm sure it would not be the first time ! And Damn straight I was right !!! These are just what we know about , How many more do we not know about??

WOW! I just have so much to say. I have a lot of mixed feelings about this war mostly from things that have directly affected my family. But I'm going to not let my feeling get mixed up here as that's not at all what this is about.
WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING thing for you to do for him! This took so much heart and soul. And every single piece shines thru and thru! I'm POSITIVE Jimmy's looking down shining upon you with a HUGE SMILE! This case has been treated SO WRONG by the government of the USA! But what's knew?? Sadly, I no longer have ANY HOPE these things and situations will EVER CHANGE! The loss of him is just absolutely HORRIBLE! I pray that family has been able to have some sort of peace after all these years. I don't know how or where they'd get any peace over this. But I pray they've found a way. I feel like there was a HUGE HUGE SLAP IN THE FACE AGAIN when the school district / system decided to tear down his memorial!!! I absolutely realize things change and sometimes changes need to be made. But for GODSAKE........ WHY COULDN'T THEY HAVE AT MINIMUM RELOCATED HIS MEMORIAL?? This just doesn't make any sense in the least! What a shame!! That literally brought tears to my eyes again.... just even I thought my crying was finally over! I hope the powers that be over this decision are completely embraced over their ridiculous decision!!
Rest in Peace Jimmy!!!

In 1968 I had a neighbor and a friend lose their brother to this senseless war! I remember praying so hard this war would end. When it finally did, those poor soldiers were treated so badly when they came back home. All because of the hippie peace generation. I am so sorry this happened to all who lost someone. I will never forget any of you. RIP TO ALL WHO SERVED AND NEVER CAME BACK. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Just after North Viet got independence France, They wanted to cooperate with America for united country but USA denied and support the corrupted dictator of Nam. That's the reason of meaningless sacrifice of Life. Ironically at the moment USA and Communist Viet are doing well in peace. All the problem from Politician and military businessman.

I must say, this is one of the best docs I have watched. I fear for the existence our country. I have completely lost faith and hope in our government as it is now. With the advent of the gen z ers, millennials, femmmies, and abc community, it is my opinion, we are one “RCH” from becoming a third world country. Just my thoughts.
