1. Yes you can mix creatine with your protein shake for even a better absorbtion, or any other drink of your liking.
2. Yes you should take your creatine and Protein even at your rest days, especially rest days are the days where the muscle growing starts happening.

ОтветитьI've never taken creatine before I'm 240 lbs and mostly muscular. So I have a 2 part question, 1. How much creatine do I need per day ? Is the 5 gm enough ? 2. I take a pre-workout, and I heard thr caffeine in them hinder the effects of creatine. Is this true ? So I stop the pre-workout ?

1. In the case of taking it before a workout, how quickly is creatine absorbed and available for use by the body? In other words, how long before a workout should it be taken? This is connected to my second question which is…
2. If creatine stores are used up during exercise, shouldn’t it be taken afterwards to replenish what was lost — which would then make taking it before the next workout unnecessary?
