No company would transfer technology regarding jet engine

IIRC Biden gifted India access and manyfacturing the GE 110 engine a year ago by authorizing a joint partnership factory in India. Such a deal gives India transfer of technology which is transformational and as described in this video used in the latest versions of the F-15 and likely the F-16/21.

That potentially gives India a massive orice and cost advantage likely supplanting its indigenously designed fighter with either American aircraft standardizing on the same engine made in India and using an engine that us likely far superior to anything anyone else can offer in reliability, performance and longevity.

To me, this looks like a slam dunk decision. There are very few things other options can offer that the American aircraft already don't.

India should go for F-21 but for only 72-80 pieces. Rest will be open for SU-57/75 to meet the requirements of 5th generation. Why India should purchase all the 4.5th generation fighter jets in stead of growing needs for 5th generation in the scenario of China's fifth generation fighter jets in increasing number.
This proposal gives India versatility in Air superiority with lesser number of fighter jets.

So why would any company transfer it's tech to make a new competitor, for a one time sale? Answer: the deal will be signed in a way that will have clause allowing skipping actual tech transfer. You either make your own or steal it.

The main reason to avoid US fighter is US is unreliable partner and can block supply any time through sanctions. Even if US gives F 15 free indian will not take it.
