Is there some store I can buy a Native Instruments
S88MKII from that has checked out each one they sell so I don't have to send back any potentially messed up ones? I have heard bad stories about knobs that don't turn right, and other defects...any retailers out there with a good reputation for not letting the defects get through?

Another nearly great drum VI. Less than 16 instruments is silly in a virtual instrument. And you can't save kits & patterns separately.

I miss the sample organization from XO, but the ability to layer is nice.

Hopefully someone will release the ultimate drum VI soon.

Can i pull out the Sample in TRIAZ via drag and drop or even the midi? Will it replace battery 4?

I have lots of love for Wave Alchemy. One of my favorite Kontakt Library makers. I highly recommend Bass Synth and Drumvolution as well. I'm also fond of XO, so seems Triaz is right up my alley. Definitely on my watch list. Thanks for the heads up Sanjay

The osmose is really cool. I love my Roli Seaboard 49 and the osmose is the best of that plus physical keys. The eaganmatrix synth is wonderful and this is the only way to get it outside of an elusive fingerboard.

The really cool thing with triaz is you don't even have to use the the same type of samples for B and C as you have in A and still layer them. It's in the name "triaz."
I would say that although any daw can basically do the same thing with FL studio being the most similar. The cool thing about triaz though is the easiness of humanizing and creating polyrhythms on the fly. This is where the workflow power is.

does anyone know of a similar drum machine to triaz that has a step input for note, filter, decay, pitch and pan? For some reason it's hard for me to find as a plugin

Built a floating stand for numerous devices including laptops, tablets, mics, keyboards. Amazon, a music or hardware store and planning is all that is required.

Lava3 seems like something the Chinese realized they can make and hope it will interest guitarists in the US. I don't see it flying.

That was a pretty weak plug for Sensuous.. LOL... Triaz got a ton of time... Sensuous... meh! :-)

That mic/keyboard stand solves at least one problem for my studio! Amazing. I think it would also keep me from getting too close to the mic and getting all those plosives I always have to fix! LOL!

The Osmose has been teasing me for years now, though a little spendy for me as an intro to MPE. My guess on the angled sliders is, you may be able to use your thumb in an expressive way better than you could could on a perpendicular fader. Maybe? Sour Chocolope is quite nice...

Again and again: very interesting. Love this blog, although I should stop buying gear, plugins and libraries, as I‘ve got almost everything I need for producing music. But I‘m not that great musician and honestly speaking Locic would really meet all my needs. However it’s nice to be informed about new instruments, software etc.

This is gonna be the weirdest compliment you'll probably have. But it's 2022, so at this point, doesn't matter? Sanjay C is like the Bob Ross of music instrument reviews. Like, every video he does legit chills me out, and has amazing content that helps make my decisions easier when planning a purchase. Guy is a legend.

That guitar looks cool, but I can already tell you that the tone is going to be garbage, especially for how much they're going to sell it for. It looks like a plastic body, the sound hold is randomly off to the side, and the rigid screen will completely eliminate reverberation in its area.

Just a heads up... That freebie synth eats my CPU for breakfast. If you want something free and actually usable, I suggest Matt Tytels Vital. :)
