I totally love Freddie's voice even in this song, but I get what many are saying , Country music as this song is, doesn't need virtuosity and powerful voice .. I can even see how Freddie is holding back not to overdo singing this song. But anyway his voice is that great and can't be disguised
Brian is perfect singing this song but I love these live of 39 with all of them in line doing their part

Am I the only one who actually likes both Freddie's and Brian's versions?
Yes, Brian's is more smooth, soft, and emotional, but Freddie's voice gives this song a new power, a new emotion. I like to listen to Freddie's after I've cried along to Brian's, it makes me feel better 💖

I love when they play this live, it just reminds me of a group of old friends playing together, for fun.

Fun fact: This was actually the last time Queen seriously played this song live in front of a live audience. There were a few times in the successive tours (80, 84, and 86) where they jokingly played the intro but stopped soon after as they had not really practiced nor could remember all the lyrics.

Travesty. This is a fabulous song, and Roger and Brian's voices are amazing on the studio version. Sorry, this rendition sucks.

I honestly don't like when Freddie sings this song that much. Brian's more somber sounding voice fits the sad tone more, and Freddie changes "blue and sunny morn" to "blue and misty morn" for no reason, which makes no sense because we don't do space launches on misty mornings. The weather has to be perfectly clear.
