"The white man did not invent anything until after slaves were freed." Really? You REALLY believe that. And what does this prove to you, if it were true? Which it's not. At all. Even a little tiny bit.

"Nasa was even baffled by how the dogon tribe knew about the rings on saturn before the telescope was invented." "I can care less if Nasa commented on the ishango bone. Several scholars have" Oh, okay. Because you'd mentioned NASA as part of your argument. Sorry. Anyways...when are you going to disprove this video? Never? Okay then.

I can care less if Nasa commented on the ishango bone. Several scholars have and commons sense would tell you that the entire bone is a coincidence. Whites have already exposed other whites rewriting history

It's funny how you're so convinced, but you look only at the evidence that suits your viewpoint, and you ignore any and all evidence to the contrary. But let's get back on point. You said "I can disprove your video." I'm still waiting for you to disprove this video, which has nothing to do with the Ishango bone, or prime numbers, or West Aftican knowledge of astronomy, or French scholar Count C. Volney, or anything like that. Disprove THIS video. That's what you said you'd do. Proceed!

Actually, there's no evidence that NASA had any comment on the Ishango bone. In fact, I personally went to Nasa dot gov, and searched there for Ishango, and there were no results found. I also searched NASA's website for Dogon, and only three results appeared, all from NASA's image gallery. A Google search of NASA and Dogon and/or Ishango produces no direct results from NASA, only speculations, and a video titled "Nasa baffled by N.W. African people!" Funny you used the same word, "Baffled."

The ishango bone is too perfect to be a coincidence....10+1, (10 * 2) + 1, (10 * 2) – 1, 10-1 This shows understanding of addition, subtraction and multiplication based on ten.The second row starts with three notches. It is then doubled to become 6. The same is done with the next number (4), which is doubled to become 8. The number 8 followed by 10 which halved to form 5. This is followed by 5 and 7.

Ответить
@racchreno
@racchreno - 10.09.2013 07:47

.. The last row is a set of prime numbers between 10 and 20. These numbers are 11, 13, 17 and 19. The numbers in this row as well as in the first row are odd number. The sum of the numbers in the first and the last rows is 60. This can not be a coincidence.The sum of the numbers in the last row in the middle is 48. This implies that all sums are multiple of 12.

Ответить
@racchreno
@racchreno - 10.09.2013 07:41

Lets not pretend that whites did not rewrite history for white supremacy. Of course scholars will disagree about the ishango bone being the first evidence of prime numbers because it does not go along with the lie that blacks did not have knowledge about anything. Nasa was even baffled by how the dogon tribe knew about the rings on saturn before the telescope was invented.

Dammit, I accidentally "Removed" your comment, mistaking it for the "reply" button. That's the problem with a 12.5" laptop screen and my increasingly poor vision. But you were saying that the Ishango bone is proof that TWA (Trans-western African?) people had knowledge of prime numbers. In the book How Mathematics Happened, it is argued that the development of the concept of prime numbers could only have come about after the concept of division, which is dated to after 10,000 BC.

Ответить
@Ultranothing
@Ultranothing - 09.09.2013 23:28

There is no definitive evidence that the Ishango bone relates to prime numbers, or even mathematics, at all. Most scholars agree that the notches were there simply to provide a better grip on the stick.

People have ACTUALLY tried to claim that I've censored their "indisputable facts that disprove my video" in the past, when in fact they'd never even made a single comment. They used the fact that I hold comments for approval to try to say that their amazing revelations that prove me wrong were being blocked, and they'd never actually said a thing. Don't be like one of those people. I'm giving you the opportunity to prove this video wrong.

The truth about black history is far more incredible and awe-inspiring.

That's how these myths are perpetuated. I've regretted not delving more fully into the ACTUAL achievements of these inventors, but the video still accomplishes what it set out to do: Give credit where it is due. History

That is true! It does show that "many ppl developed different aspects of traffic control devices." It also shows that Garrett Morgan did not invent the FIRST traffic signal. It also shows that his invention had no measurable impact upon the future development of traffic control systems. And that was the point of the presentation! To defuse the many myths, lies and exaggerations surrounding his inventions and legacy. Does that make ANY sense to you at all?

The only thing this video demonstrates is that Garrett Morgan was not the original inventor of the traffic signal, that his invention had no impact on the development of modern signaling devices, and that there are false claims attributed to his legacy. Would you rather just believe the lie?

Though Columbus was not the first European explorer to reach the Americas, Columbus' voyages led to the first lasting European contact with the Americas, inaugurating a period of European exploration, conquest, and colonization that lasted for several centuries. He DID discover America. For Europe. Who was not aware of its existence previously. But his greatest achievement was not that he "discovered" America, but that he stayed. Proof? Why do you think they speak Spanish in South America?

I haven't seen anything in this video that claims anyone was inferior or superior to anyone else, so I'm going to assume you're just seeing what you want to see. But please, show me how this video proves Garrett Morgan to be smarter than anyone else featured therein.

So this video proves that "this brother was far more intelligent than his white counterpart," and it ALSO provides "no actual proof" of anything? How is that possible? So it proves something that you want to be true, for YOUR convenience, but it proves nothing that you, on a personal level, disagree with. And why does it prove nothing? Because of "some documentation [I] could have found, or made." Made up, you mean? You couldn't go look any of this stuff up yourself, right?

Try papyrus, architecture, spiritual, political, economical, scientific and other sophisticated systems constituting high civilizations thousands of years before Homer's work ever made it to script. Kemet is purely an African invention before invaders conquered and raped it.

Okay, maybe saying it isn't "even a little bit true" is going a bit far, because it is a little bit true. A tiny bit. But there's so much more to it than that and I think your comment undermines and minimizes Edison's actual contributions and achievements and overall awesomeness.

"Edison is given far too much credit for things which he literally did not invent. In point of fact, he personally invented little. He paid an army of REAL scientists to either invent new devices, or perfect those of others - then took all credit for himself" That isn't even a little bit true. Do you always talk directly out of your ass, or is this how you were actually taught?

So does this mean that "all" recorded black inventions are myths? The truth is important to uncover therefore I would go on to ask if there actually are any actual black inventions that deserve acknowledgement at all. Yes the advancements are ultimately for all mankind however the moment one chooses to focus on race with the myths the moment the whole topic becomes focused on race. Are we to conclude there are no contributions African Americans have made to mankind's development?

Jesus Christ wasn't "white" nor was he "black". Isralites of that time are not the same as modern day Isralites. It is stupid to assume a group of people that originally were from the middle east were always white. They were exiled from their homeland and went north into Europe. The reason why they are white now is simply due to racial mixing over that long period of time of exile. At best they were colored bearing in mind the middle eastern climate.

Why? The subject of the video is the myth that Morgan invented the traffic signal. How is Columbus relevant? Yeah, I know, as a distraction from the fact that you can't refute anything in the video.

Ответить
@punchjob
@punchjob - 22.09.2012 07:07

First of all it's "Latimer". Second an improvement is not the same as an invention. Third if we are talking about the light bulb filament, neither Latimer or Edison invented it. Joseph Swan of England had a rudimentary filament by 1860. Fourth Actual traffic lights existed before Morgan did anything with traffic signals and when he did produce a working signal it was not automatic.

Ответить
@punchjob
@punchjob - 22.09.2012 06:57

The only 'problem' with the video is that it's accurate and it's screwing up the claim that Morgan invented the traffic light.

Ответить
@punchjob
@punchjob - 22.09.2012 06:55

He proved conclusively that Morgan did not event it and that numerous other people invented and or improved it with multiple versions of the device before Morgan had anything to do with it. You are just being delusional. If you disagree what statement in the video was factually incorrect? Anything? Anything at all?

Ответить
@punchjob
@punchjob - 22.09.2012 06:51

Because he read it on Wikipedia and heard it during black history month, so, Morgan invented it and no amount of facts are going to convince him otherwise.

Ответить
@punchjob
@punchjob - 22.09.2012 06:48

Morgan didn't invent the 'gas mask'. He was beaten to it, at a minimum by John Stenhouse in 1854 and John Tyndall in the 1870s. Claims of Morgans invention generally list 1914 as the date of invention so he was about 60 years too late.
