This Linux OS Looks EXACTLY Like Windows 10!

Personally it looks like a modded version of MintOS Cinnamon but it's close enough nothing bad I just got into Linux because of movies like Jurassic Park and I could see why people are obsessed with Linux because it's open source and you can even retro vibe from it. Linux can also take appearance of older WindowsOS if you wanted it to and learned how to make your own Operating System what I haven't seen done yet is a Windows 7 imitation with the ACTUAL Start Menu and not the MintOS one. Also I hope you get better that sucks having a fatal disease because our cat is going through cherry eye which can be fatal. If you want to future proof your old computer don't throw it away turn it into a Linux I've installed source codes through the Terminal on Ubuntu and eventually got it working like a Steam Machine I got sick of the Start menu being at the top so I reverted back to Windows 10 Ubuntu is not for me I'm still making decisions about it.

now to put a passcode onto iso file, so when installing you need passcode and update, and make everything customizable and remove all watermark and licenses including linux license, and so you can license it, lol

OMG this is what I need. I love Linux but I get physically ill when look at non windows mouse pointers.

With Windows slowing down to the point of unusability whenever it wants to force me to reboot and update, honestly, I really want to switch, but I'm still hesitating because WINE doesn't seem to run software as fast as they run natively (e.g. one benchmark from 2013 showed a 40% increase in startup times, and I haven't heard of any improvements in that regard) and I use tons of heavy productivity programs for work.

Linux that looks exactly like Windows... But what for?

Anyone have a suggestion for me my windows computer recently got corrupted so I uninstalled windows and I want to switch to Linux should I use windows fix ?

I just want ACTUAL Windows with the features, controls and customizations back.

Can it run exe directly? If it is possiible to run then microsoft may really going to do something about it.

Don't know how long this has been out but there's already an Linux OS similar to Windows 7/10 or the 11 version called, 'windowsfx'. 😂

It is missing the constantly tracking of users

using the theme has never been the hard part of mobing to linux for me, its always grate untill you have a problem which then requires you to dive in to the nightmare of console based everything. I dont think any of these distros will soon make troubleshooting easy for windows users. An that's not to even touch the problem of gaming on linux

I hope it's a real replacement. Windows 10 will be out of support in 3 years and Windows 11 being locked to newer systems means most including myself will be switching.

It would be much much easier if linux can adapt more and more less need usage of terminal at all. Making more graphical interface for installation, update/upgrade and so on

Given that windows is by far the most popular OS, the move to make Linux look and feel like Windows is understandable, and a very good way of attracting new users, but we will soon see how much Linux loves windows, when it is effectively banned from being installed on any Windows 11 computer

This is not Linux. Linux is about free and Open source software. We all switched from windows because of all the crap that Microsoft shuves in our faces.

I use Plasma KDE with the Win7OS or Curved Volatile desktop themes that make it looks like Windows 7.

If there is a Linux that looks or can look like Windows 7 I'm switching cuz I always hated windows 8 and 10.

I became an Ubuntu user almost 2 years ago after my 2nd install of Windows crashed, and I never looked back. Ubuntu can be a pain sometimes when installing software using the terminal. Ubuntu 21.04 is pretty good. However, I'm still used to dragging icons from folders to desktop, which you can't do directly on Ubuntu.

I suppose this is the equivalent to those somewhat "strange" gentlemen in the world that like to dress up as babies and be pampered or punished by a "disreputable" woman that they pay money to.

Given that Windows is an OS for "babies" and that grown-ups use Linux, then I guess putting a Windows 10 skin on Linux satisfies those same urges to be "pampered" like the men in nappies above. And I still don't understand what goes in the minds of either of those groups of people.

Personally, I think once you've escaped Windows, then the last thing you should do is remind yourself of that "hell" you once put yourself through.

No Linux OS, as far as I know, inclusive of all distributions which are said to be similar to Windows 10, behave or look the same way beyond the list-menu option, taskbar and background.
