Thank you Erika, You are very smart 👍 I don't even know how much I spend on food a month! This $5.34 rule a month is hard. But thank you. Taddeo from Durham, NC
Ответитьgreat ideas, thanks for sharing
ОтветитьSaving is obsolete since you loose due to inflation vs Investment is outpace inflation.
ОтветитьCashless society is dangerous, in many ways. Only one of which is it makes us less mindful of our money.
ОтветитьI learned this later in life.. But glad I still learned it. Now I have my own YT channel promoting Cash savings challenges.. And I prefer cash over card.. I have a challenge that helps me save towards anything I need. Having sinking funds is a brilliant tool. I budget with pen and paper too😅
ОтветитьStop ! creating beggars with cash back, ha ha . do you think Bill Gates is considering cash back!
ОтветитьGood video.
I was terrible with money. It felt like a win win situation if I bought something or ate out. I needed a carrot before the donkey. What brought me success was putting a little in a vacation fund every week the budget took care of the budget daily. That gave me the motivation to budget. One thing I do is take a picture of my budget with my phone. That allows me to look at it throughout the day
At 42, I've come to realize that money is a tool. I’ve worked so hard over the years to realize that if you don’t make money work for you, you can’t experience true freedom. I’m glad I found that out although it was later in life, but that marked the turning point in my finances.
ОтветитьWhere do you find this journal… I looked it up and can’t find it.
ОтветитьHmm nice country to settle down with someone
ОтветитьDo you know Japanese
ОтветитьVery much a pleasure. Thank you
ОтветитьYou have earned my subscription. Thank you!
ОтветитьThese are all awesome ideas and should be daily habits. On the flip side, this is not possible if your income is below survival income and prices continue rising. The illusion/lie in America is that we all live like we see on tv. The lie is that income is more than the cost of food, shelter and energy needs. For millions that is simply not true. We need more solutions for people in this category.😢😢😢
ОтветитьI fired my pool guy & gardener. I work full time doing my professional work at university, but manage to clean my pool everyday & every few weeks do some garden trimming & cleaning of an acre. I am a 47 years old woman :) who is a bit lazy & still do all my house work too. If I can do it anyone can.
ОтветитьI like everything besides giving my money 💰 to my women lol I’m not doing that part
ОтветитьSome of us save to buy at Costco because the grocery bill is reduced overall if you can wait to buy in bulk. Shopping single serve is incredibly expensive in the US, so always be careful of just assuming a low absolute cost in the short run is saving you money. Over the course of an entire month, the carefully selected items from Costco are the only reason my basic groceries stay affordable.
ОтветитьHave not seen your channel for a while Erika. I left Beverly Hills a year and a half ago, and moved back to Thailand to live. I have always admired the ‘easy living’ lifestyle in Asia, and enjoying life daily now.
Come December, I am taking a trip to Hokkaido Japan, and Hanoi Vietnam, and looking very forward to it. Life is good as long as you prepare for it.
Oh, maybe Germany took over this "single boiled egg" idea. Just that ours a colored. First we had them only around Easter, now it's through the whole year.
ОтветитьI have trouble with paying only cash in the US because of how infrequently I get receipts. I am less likely to be offered a receipt if I pay in cash! At least with a credit card there is a record of where the money went. I’ve tried to write down what I spent in cash in a little notebook, but I find that I often forget what the cost was by the time I have a moment to record it. So cash just… disappears.
