The cyclops on my Cadisen is a let down. Otherwise I love it. I have two Cadis and am looking at adding a new color so will lood at PD now.

And 1 point more to the Pagani: its cyclops is made by Sapphire Glas too.

I'm a bit late with this comment and it has nothing to do with the watches, the music at the start of the video was also used in the game return to castle Wolfenstein around the year 2000, I know, useless information but I just had to mention that.

I prefer the Cadisen all day, especially the green one, it is absolutely gorgeous, can't believe how good the quality is for the price and I really like the Roman numbers because its part of history and Cadisen did a really good job of making this watch, stunning

I'm glad I found this cause I'm literally debating which one of these exact watches to buy right now, and strangely enough I think you convinced me to go the opposite way of your ratings. I actually like the day window (no, nobody "needs it" all spelled out, but I like how it looks), the romans vs. indeces are a wash for me, and I wouldn't take either into water so the crown/water resistance isn't important to me at all, nor do I care about the brand. The only point against the Cadisen that would have possibly mattered to me was the bracelet.... but even then, I've already got several jubilee braceleted watches (all of, I suspect, better quality) but I don't have a presidential bracelet yet.

I do wish the dial/sunburst comparrison was between two of the same color, as I think it's hard to properly judge a colored dial vs a black, but otherwise I think you convinced me that they're almost interchangible by any real, measurable standard, and convinced me I should just go for the one that will be most unique among my collection, which is the Cadisen.

Happy Father's Day, your comparison was jolting because I just bought the CADISEN to upgrade from a quartz LGXIGE Day Date on that note maybe I'm good but indeed I got you on the review, thank you sir.

I don't swim with my watches so for me screw down crown is a nuisance

Chinese copies of Swiss watches powered by the Japanese. Cheap, Pretty and reliable. The NH35 is still a better choice than the Miota because when you get tired of it you can get a new dial and better hands easily. I went with Tudor BB snowflakes and Milgauss thunderbolt second. I call it Frank.

The cadisen is better.. the pagani design has a senseless size!

Awesome review I couldn’t agree with you more on your entire review they are both really nice for the money though but I also prefer the dial on the Pagani and not so much the Roman numerals on the other and that bracelet looks like it’s really nice on the Pagani I don’t know how they can give you all that for such a great price Wow! They’re both garbage Chinese knock-offs.

I've had a few issues with finishing quality on the 2 Pagani watches I've purchased. Some very sharp edges on the clasp and around the case which I had to resolve myself. I also purchased a couple of Addiesdive watches which are at similar price to Panagni, and their finishing was much much better. So I'm a bit apprehensive on purchasing another Pagani...

Roman numerals mess up that dial imho.

Both of them are pretty OK for the price. Personally I'm not a Rolex fan, but if I was I don't think I could handle people asking, is that a Rolex, but then realising on closer inspection, saying, oh, it's a fake. I know it's a homage, but people will still think of it as a fake. Not against these type of homages, I have a Heimdallr Monster homage, but got the red dial so nobody will confuse it with the original 2nd gen Seiko, and an sd1975 Steeldive tuna, with a yellow dial again to be sure there's no confusion with the original Seiko. I think if I did like Rolex design and didn't mind the comments I would go for the Cadisen, it's a nicer looking watch, and I do like day and date.

Just get the Pagani. The quality is great period (not just "for the money") + Seiko movement + really nice bracelet. I got mine for $77 shipped (U.S.). Good channel!

At least Cadisen got many of the designs own, not carbon copies like a Pagani

Why not just buy a genuine steel Rolex datejust that holds its value?

Given that they are both hideous and a very similar price, the Cadisen would get my vote. A day date is always going to be a more useful watch and I don't have anything with a miyota movement it would be interesting to see how it performs.

Initially I liked screw down crowns but outside of Rolex, Omega and Seiko the threads tend to wear out / strip over time.

I wanted a Cadison President bracelet. For a project, had to order it through Pagani Design. JANBOY. RN. Rtd.

I know its a president homage feature but I just can't stand a banner telling me the day of the week on the top. So the Pagani has a cleaner less busy look without IIII and V111 on dial as well.

Both watches give you good value for your money. I think it is mostly up to your personal preference. I like the day/date movement of the Cadisen, but not the dial. If the real deal is no option, I think the Pagani is the better package.

I have been a Pagani fan for a long time and have many of there models, they are an exceptional watch manufacturer and have set the standard to follow. However, I have two of the Cadisen DayDate models and am extremely impressed. Note the Cadisen I have have screw down crowns and a 100 meter rating looks like an on going improvement they have made. Both of mine are running within 8 sec accuracy over 24 hours, impressive ! My $4200 Swiss brand can't even come close. I believe the fit in finish is truly equal between both brands. I have the Pagani DateJust also and the reason I bought the Cadisen is for the different dial configuration over the Pagani and the presidents style bracelet which I think they hit spot on, but is does lack any micro adjust so I have to give that to Pagani. My evaluation, all due respect to you Perth, I think they are almost equal but I would give Pagani the win only by 4 points for the bracelets clasp and brand because they are clearly setting the standard to follow. Great review.
