How are you even supposed to know where to go in some of these levels?

They should have given Baraka a few khanges of klothes. Like one for each level? I know they must have spent like $100 at a halloween shop to dress these kharacters up, but I think the illusion of depth would have lasted a little longer if they made the enemies look different.

and yet, this story still isn't as much of a slap-in-the-face as MKX

So fun thing about the controls; since it's doing the Batman Forever thing of having a fighting game control scheme for a platforming game (which is shit, incase you didn't know), but notice Sub-Zero can walk backwards. That's because you have to hit a button specifically to turn yourself in the other direction.

PS, since this is a prequel, does this mean even in the new timeline this and Special Forces are still canon?

This game isn't easy and by the way the talking is annoying

when I was a kid I enjoyed this game but now I realize how stupid it was

first of all, this isn't Scorpion's temple, he was hired by Quan Chi as well as Sub-Zero to steal the map in case the other one failed.

Secondly, these are not Thugs, tbey are Monks trying to defend this temple.

LOL! LAZY. They actually switch between live action (picking up a skull) and CG (for dialogue) like no one would notice.

By the way, anyone watching this who has never played this game before.  You might notice that he frequently fails to do special moves in the game.  This isn't because he's bad at the game, but it's actually because the game sometimes decided not to let you do the attack.  It's like the game can't handle that many button presses at once.

After watching the reviews from AVGN and ProJared, I can say that the longplayer makes the game look easy. All the death traps and lack of hints on what to do next and the ridiculous precision needed to jump on the wind temple's spinning platforms will whittle down your lives and continues. Oh, and you need to press a button just to turn around.

After seeing the AVGN review, this looks like a master playthrough

Mortal Kombat Armageddon is a better game. Your character doesn't die as easily, you can create your own fighter, and you can choose from over 60 different characters. The various battle arenas make that game interesting too.

I was really expecting during the Water Temple/Shrine Stage for Sub-Zero to run into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now I really feel that crossover needs to happen.

watching this, and playing Snake Eater during the rope climbing parts made it all the more enjoyable. Sub Zero's still in a dream. Snake Eater.

I guess according to slowbeef, ninja clans shouldn't have names, which means neither should companies, families, or maybe even countries. It seems the more vague the classification, the better, according to him.

What a krazy way Sub-Zero klimbs those ropes. Even if he looks like a krip, he's still a 🅱️aller.

You know, there should have been codes in the MK games that had kartoony, 3-Stooges-type sound effects. Have the MK theme played on piano, and when someone says something the screen cuts to black with white text like a silent film.
Example. Scorpion throws a spear and the screen cuts to text " Get over here"
<Sub Zero Collects the amulet> Screen cut to text. " Well. Now just to get home and get paid. " < Quan-Chi shows up wearing a top hat and sporting a mustache. >
{"Mwa hahaha. The amulet is mine.. Now my deity, the master of all unpleasant things can come to earth. }" The screen cuts to " The End"

For those saying that Sub-Zero had a yellow outfit while flying through the window at the start, this actually isn't true. The yellow section you see is just his arm. Simply, the lighting made it kind of awkward looking.
