Rhomboid Strength Test

I had rombhoid pain and did this stretch, my back popped and my pain is slightly alleviated. 🙏

Hi, thank you for your video. I am unable to lift up my left arm as seen in this video after a swimming session. Right arm is fine. There’s no pain and it has been a week. Can you give a possible reason that i can research more about?

As I watched this video for the very first time I was observing the doctor how he pressed on the back and I just kind of was thinking about the movement and I kind of did it myself I was laying flat in my back when all of a sudden there was the biggest pop I have ever felt and I feel like my rib released popped out or something felt so good

In what way is the index finger being pushed away?
Edit : oh I think I get it. The rhomboids should pull the scapula inwards, so in this position it pushed the index finger out of the way as the scapula turns in. This right?

You say that if the rhomboids are normal, the index finger is pushed away, and if otherwise, it's a positive test. Positive for what exactly? Rhomboid issues? What if I can't even put my arm back behind me like that?
