I be honest I don't really like that banner, I mean the idea is good but the way they implement was bad, reset the pity when banner change was such a no no for me the I literally never pull on there

Those people who pulled on Genshin about chronicles is it Guarantee to pull? Or its 50/50 at first?

100% not worth it because it’s basically just a scam with no way to carry your guaranteed pity so unless this uses the normal currency then it’s never worth pulling.

Sometimes it feels like genshin has become a test realm for stuff in HSR ^^

My question about this banner's 50/50 being, is the 50/50:
1 - [W] one random amongst the six of them or [L] a permanant banner character
2 - [W] the selected character or [L] one of the five other characters
3 - [W] the selected character or [L] a permanant banner character

Like, how does the 50/50 work, i never understood it in Genshin in the first place

Most likely the characters which already had a rerun will appear in the new banner. So a character will have an initial rate up banner, a rerun banner and then goes straight to the new banner. It's kinda self sustaining

I never get why HSR doesn't just add older limited characters & limited lightcones to the standard pool & just have a banner for standard characters & their personal lightcone on a regular rotation.

That's what Reverse 1999 does & it feels pretty darn refreshing to lose a 50/50 to an old limited character you either skipped & wanted or wanted more dupes for.

The flaws on Genshin’s Chronicle banners:
1.Fate point doesn’t carry over
2.Only lasted for first half of the patch
3.Doesn’t include on every patch
4.Forces players to use limited fates instead of standard fates

Seriously, Hoyoverse really has to take notes on this. Hope the same flaws won’t happen in Honkai Stsr Rail.

Deadass they should do something like Arknights Kernel headhunting banners. Two random 5 stars, whatever random 4 stars. Then during one patch just allow players to choose who they want on the banner. Of course it’d need to tweak some things, just really hoping they at least give these new banners their own currency

Hopefully the fate points carry over to the next banner because if it’s like genshin, most likely I would not pull.

Well. This probably a pipe dream, but i hope they use the selector system with 100% drop rate for this new banner system. They can increase the pity count to 100 and remove any concept of "soft pity". As long as it's a selector with 100% drop rate, i'm fine with it.

I feel like in my opinion it would be Seele, Jing Yuan and Silver wolf cause of the release dates of each character

I doubt they'll put the stellaron hunters on it, they're insanely popular characters, especially Kafka, and it probably just wouldn't be worth it for hoyoverse

It feels like this game has only been running for a year. Why should there be a chronicle banner? For Genshin, that's normal because it's already 3 years old and the characters are rerun Very long. Well, even though it's just a prediction

This is nothing more than just a bad idea I would hope it would use standard banner pulls so that is more reasonable and acquirable knowing hoyoverse that won’t be the case the game is so F with power creep

Ok they have to majorly improve it from the genshin’s chronical. After all only thing I say is worth pull in the chronical banner is the limited weapons but that only because the weapon banner sucks in genshin.

How would I improve it. Make it cost the same as the standard banner reason behind this. Star rails actually have a way to get standard wish that not characters related. Second reason it is easier to get limited banner wish the it is standard banner wishes. (Note this math is assuming you spend the your jades on the limited wishes only and have no character to level up and no event) with in 2 weeks of Star rails you can get 8 limited wish and 3 standard banner wish. Reason number 3. There a point with standard wishes you are just pulling on it for undying starlight or lcs

It makes sense for them to add this system earlier in hsr because mihoyo learned from their mistakes and didn’t do solo rerun banners for hsr. That used to so freaking bad when I played Genshin because there were less new characters and the ones I wanted got delayed much further because they kept the single banner system for such a long time. But in hsr, there wasn’t a single patch where we didn’t get two new characters, right? So the characters pile up much quicker. I would rather have the hi3 system where you could choose the rerun character banner you wanted out of the three choices you had, and it worked just like premium wish banner. No fate point mumbo jumbo

I just hope it has the same pity as the lightcone banner (75/25) to make it more convenient for players because fate points feels pretty scummy and like a safeguard only for whales.
