So much better than Dave's CBS show.
ОтветитьThanks for uploading. I really miss Siskel and Ebert, but we have so much video footage of them
ОтветитьThis is my second time going through this giant compilation and I just have to say thank you. I freaking love these guys
ОтветитьSo glad I grew up watching these two. They were a national treasure.
ОтветитьThey made a really good pair . You really can’t re-create something like that .
ОтветитьIt's collections like this that are invaluable. And would not exist without Don. Thank you, Don!
ОтветитьImagine if all the world's problems could be settled with good natured free throw competitions.
ОтветитьSadly, that "Anti-foaming agent" they used on the popcorn might have lead to both of their cancers.
ОтветитьNow I really want to say to a girl unironically "You are a thirsty flower, but I can water you!"
Ответитьyou get to see a great many wonderful things happen throughout these awesome Don Giller Siskel & Ebert / David Letterman compilation videos.
you get to see not only all three guys become dear friends and cherished appearances but we also get to see Siskel & Ebert become bigger and bigger stars. we see the applause continue to expand.
I like Amityville 2.
Ответить$5 for tickets??? I can hardly remember that!!! Wish they knew back then that tickets would be $10 now!
ОтветитьI have no idea why, but I just started watching this collection for at least the 5th time. Something in me must love something in this very much.
ОтветитьI watch them because I grew doing so but I never really watch them for their movie opinions because if I did I wouldn’t be watching all those mindless action movie lol
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьHoly crap! Late night television was once intelligent!
Ответить$5 in NYC back in 1982? Damn!!!
ОтветитьThis is great! Thanks for posting.
ОтветитьHalloween 3 was good movie 🎬 🎞 🎥 🎦 📽 👌
ОтветитьLetterman angrily screaming "IT'S A JOKE!!!" is a great moment
ОтветитьClassic interview🔥👏
Ответитьglorious
ОтветитьOpossible Thumbs brought me here.
ОтветитьCrazy that Rupert Murdoch was still relevant in 1986
ОтветитьI love how Letterman pronounces Ebert like Ernie from Sesame Street.
ОтветитьGene Siskel dispatching Neil Simon inside of a minute was a real pleasure to watch. 😂😂
ОтветитьThey really didn't like THE COLOR OF MONEY (1986).... wow
ОтветитьRest in peace Gene and Roger, thank you for being you, your passion your love of film and joining us at the movies. There has never been another pair like you, nor there ever will be. You are missed.
ОтветитьNot excited by the Oscar lineup on the year that Raiders of the Lost Ark came out?
ОтветитьWhy all the quality videos of this guys are so bad ?all of them bad. It wasn't the 80s either.
ОтветитьWeird they only appeared once as 'Siskel & Ebert" as panel guests from 1983 to 1989. I guess Siskel & Ebert were doing more Tonight Shows at the time.
Ответить$5 in NYC?!
ОтветитьImportant history reminds us that we were once human
ОтветитьThe evolution of David Lettermans '80s haircut - A portrait.
ОтветитьMy first job was in a movie theater in '82, the whole bit they do about the popcorn? Yeah, my job was to pop all the corn for the weekend on Thursday night and bag it. In addition to working the concession counter of course. The stuff they used for butter is the same oil we popped the corn in. My advice would be never buy the SnowCaps, they are the least popular candy and it's possible those boxes are years old.
ОтветитьJeez, all three of them are from 35 to 40 years old but looks 60
ОтветитьLMAO at that Pavarotti clip 😂
ОтветитьSophie’s choice
ОтветитьMaster of The Flying Guillotine is awesome, it inspired the game Street Fighter II.
ОтветитьSurprised Siskel, whose reviews I tend to agree more with, didn’t like Sophie’s Choice or Kline’s performance. I thought both were brilliant. One of my favorite movies.
Ответить"Go to the line and shoot some free throws"... OK, that explains where Fallon took his cue for the format he'd use ON A NIGHTLY BASIS!
ОтветитьFunny moment when these two are contrasted as a family man (Siskel) and a single man (Ebert). Siskel has good reasons for not going to the film festivals in Toronto and Cannes.
