I really loved this game, had a great guild and really got into it. Was so fun just sailing with guild mates, shooting the sh*t on your boat looking out for pirates on your way to trade your packs. I had two prime houses and ample farmland but damn, my account was hacked and robbed blind maybe...3-4 times back to back to back until I just gave up. It was good timing because thats when pay-2-win was just starting to get really bad but damn...such a wasted opportunity. Hope Archeage 2 is better.

I remember that they added "Thunderstruck Tree" to the cash-shop, around 3 months after release.
That killed my whole economy and made me quit the game.

Archeage Classic launching Aug 4th...not a fresh start server. Vanilla server no p2w and strict no alts policy. Adjusted labor system for casuals to remain competitive.

Archeage Classic private server dropping Aug 4th. Can the devs actually recreate AA beta/pre 3.0 magic with no p2w? I hope so...couldnt be bothered to play any of the other p2w private servers.

This was the greatest game i have ever played.

archeage was aamzing during its launch. the graphic is wonderful. when i started, i just spend time delivering trade pack with donkey, but then i joined a guild which explained to me many stuff. farm hauler, continent trading, farming, etc. i've never seen a game with jury system, naval PvP and pack stealing like archeage. The first bad sign is when they launch auroria, with half of the server blocked, and trion refuse to rollback. it was already bad with archeum+mining bots running rampant, illegal APEX on auction, land grabber software, dupe, etc. however auroria was the first sign of trion incompetence.

Theres no way koreans fr giving socials out to play mmos. Thats honestly awesome way to secure ur game from hacking, but also makes your databases a huge target

ArcheAge was the epitome of getting immersed in a fantasy world. I remember my last times playing was being hired as a body guard, then in the same day convincing my way onto a fishing boat in order to get more money to afford thunderstruck logs to build my first car.

The only thing about Archeage sucked was that it was easier and more profitable to PK your own alliance players for the trade packs than do trade pack runs yourself, I'm sure this drove a lot of players away.

I couldn’t just give up on archeage. Archeworld just came out and I just spent $800 on a large land plot. I can money off it by selling Archeum for bslt. Years ago I got so addicted to this game it seriously fucked up my relationship with my wife

I played to like level 17 on release, game was very mid.

I still squirm in agony when I think about how amazing this game was and the colossal success it could have been.

Next year will be 10 years since that unforgettable launch month and I still think about it a couple times a year.

i still play on the private server of AA sure its power creeped to hell now and anything less than 16k gearscore is now just within one shot range but the team keeping it alive is unique and do what they can while working within the update they are having to work with. the class tree system is still what i love most of it can do the build class i wish if i wanna be a melee with magic or a range with tank from a close quarter cc machine or a sneaky assasin mage.

For nostalgy It looks cool but was a pay to win pay to progress shit, boring and repetitive as fuck

I fought tooth and nail to get the Moonshadow glider after doing many trade runs on the ocean with my character. The fact that it isn't used as much for the game and acts as more of a map travel booster is sad. I want to see AA get to being less exploited and better combat for this game and any upcoming games of the company.

Man this Game was such a great time with my Guild when it got released... sadly to see that Pay2Win will always destroy awesome games like that.

Been playing ArcheRage. It's been fun and genuinely tries to fix all the issues AA had. AAGenesis is a project to bring back 1.2 AA which would be fantastic if it ever releases.

Good thing I never got to fully experience it since my computer was ass. Now I'm actually able to play it. Wish me luck.

Leveling up your mount was annoying. The kiting was fun though and I enjoyed playing an archer. No ah use for f2p people though.
