For the price of a traditional set of 12" powered speakers, Sound Town offers a very powerful and well-designed subwoofer/column array system that looks and feels great. The sub is built of plywood with a textured coating and contains an amplifier for a pair of passive tops. The V4 speakers included in the system are passive curved column arrays with 4x4" drivers and 4x1" compression drivers. A single speakon cable connects the tops to the sub, simplifying setup. Mid and vocal clarity is solid for the price and the system would be perfect for small bands or corporate sound reinforcement.
