I'm watching this series for the 7th or 8th time now. Brilliant stuff
ОтветитьThe Emperor: dont call me a god
Also the Emperor: *is 10 feet tall, has magic powers, is super strong and fast, guides starships through interstellar travel, and has a literal flaming sword*
Majokill remided me of oh how awesome this channel was and how much work is put into this long form content. Thank you for enriching the wh experience for us all!
ОтветитьPlot twist Fallout series of Bethesda actually set in Warhammer 40k universe
ОтветитьLol. Sorry, I know it's an official term and all that, but I can't hear "Techno Barbarian" without seeing Conan in a nightclub. 😅 "Hi....my name's Arnold, and I'll be your freestyle dance instructor." 🤣
ОтветитьJimmy space
ОтветитьHe also has two left hands.
ОтветитьWhat if the emperor was the culmination of the human spirit and will to overcome, all formed into a collective “being” if you will. This being gained consciousness and acquired power and managed to pierce the veil, birthing itself into existence to guide humanity into the stars.
ОтветитьHow about this idea:
Evolution sometimes makes a wee leap in order for a species to continue onwards.
What if, with one unborn, this happened, but in extremis?
An evolutionary error beyond anything?
I mean, the real world humans are such a phenomenal mistake.
So, it is mere logical deduction.
Them: We are going to
Make you a navigator, your going to lose your pupils, your going to grow a third eye in the middle of your forehead and your skin might turn clear but you are going to get bigger appendages.
Me: Say no more 😏
Good night
ОтветитьIf the Emperor were around today, he'd be quickly taken out with "me too"
ОтветитьI am dissapointed by no mention of the toaster
ОтветитьT.E.o.M is Kane from pre history’s Kane & Able , destined to live on ♾️
ОтветитьFor as glorious as this technology was presented, the lack of archiver's and legendary enginners For this Golden age technology is quite perplexing.
ОтветитьLuetin, ty bro, you understand our needs :)
ОтветитьI come back to these once a year or so. I’ve gotten at least one person into 40k from these videos. They are a great intro to the lore—even though they are focused on mankind, it’s still a good general overview for someone, whatever faction they end up gravitating toward
ОтветитьSòoooooooo good.
ОтветитьAnd here I thought that the emperor of mankind was a reincarnation of a bunch of powerful psychics. Who all noticed that less and less psychics were being born into the world due to demonic forces . So they decided all to commit mass suicide at once and be reincarnated into one powerful being. Or was the official rule book that I read 15 years ago wrong.
ОтветитьHow did the primarchs scattered? I thought they were just created after the unification wars
ОтветитьThis would be cool with the iconic 40k opening. "It is the 41st millennium..."
ОтветитьI always imagine those with psychic power are mostly mental patients dreaming of escape from their torture room. 😢
ОтветитьMust be my 23rd time listening to this and it never gets old definitely my go to audio book all of your videos
ОтветитьI'm going to show these lore videos to my kids as actual historical records of our world.
ОтветитьSacrificing thousands of psykers to the corpse emperor really likens him to the Aztec sun god Huitzilopochtli. The priest in the last church warned him this would happen, his arrogance blinded him, "...because I know better." Right, sure he did.
Ответитьnew viewer here, been interested in warhammer 40k's lore for quite awhile, i appreciate your voice, wording, lack of really distracting noises and sections, and calm music, might consider subscribing
ОтветитьComing back to this 7+ years later, and Luetin is better than ever. I can't believe this was only your third WH40k lore video, you sound like a veteran already. Also, you talked a lot faster back then :)
ОтветитьThis is the video that got me into Warhammer two years ago! Thanks again for being my introduction!
ОтветитьIm relistening this for the 5th time
ОтветитьSo, is this like a Warcraft spinoff?
ОтветитьIt's dune ain't it?
ОтветитьThank you so much @Luetin09 for these fantastic videos on 40K lore that you have made. They're all really well done and is really helpling me as a newcomer to the world of 40k. Thank you for the time and effort you have put into making this!
ОтветитьI am new to 40K, hence why I am here. I find the lore fascinating. However I have a gripe with your logic behind the origin of the Emperor of Mankind.
You accept as fact that the Emperor of Mankind is kept alive by sacrificing (suicide?) thousands of Psykers, meaning that there is a connection between Psy powers and someone's life through the Warp, but at the same time reject the premise that early human Psykers could do the same to initiate the birth of the Emperor of Mankind as mere "maybe but it's fantasy". If a thousand psykers are needed to keep his current form alive, I see no reason why "a few shaman" couldn't initiate his origin.
You are free to follow whatever theory you want, but please be consistent with logic you use in arguments for it.
I mean no one wants to admit that they ate nine cans of ravioli but I did and I'm ashamed of myself.
ОтветитьThe Emperor is the last of the old ones.
ОтветитьEmps is a Man of Gold.
ОтветитьThe emperor ate the psyker psyker fruit and tried to be the king of the pirates
ОтветитьI felt like the Emperor's immediate dive into Geneseed research was a dead giveaway 💀
The Old Ones love their sliders when customizing species
One psyker per one billion humans. Thousands of psykers fed to the emperor every day.
Yeah, plot holes galore.
I don't know... History erased, tragedies and cataclysms following, no progress, incessant dehumanization and crimes against humanity....
Seems like the Emperor is a usurper who has mostly just failed to fill the shoes of whoever came before.
It only takes a couple generations to re-educate a population...

Ответитьdid you really shoot down a theory within 40k for "not being believable"
Ответить
