This song reminds me of the time I was in San Diego. I was serving in the military, and I would go to the beach with the only girl I ever truly fell in love with. We would do everything from having Saturday morning brunch, out to eat at bars, have deep conversations, ponder about life and its meaning. We did damn near everything together and talked about everything. We broke up because I ended up leaving California, and I wasn't mature at the time (no clue what I wanted to do with my life after the military.) and she found someone else. I miss her a lot, but I know she is doing good being married, and having children. Beautiful memories, but sad feelings are what I feel when I hear this song.
