Thank you......
Purchased my own guitar 2 Christmas's ago. Allllllllll my life I have lived and enjoyed the guitar. Allllllll my life wanted to learn to play. Allllll my life have played the BEST air guitar. Sooo finally bought me one. I wrote many songs(lyrics).. now learning to put chords to them
At least that version works. Thanks a lot. Had one trying to teach me grabbing it with second, third and fourth finger instead of first, second and third. Now that is challenging...
ОтветитьWhat does the Three white dots represent
ОтветитьIsn't there a G short cut
ОтветитьExcellent presentation TY
ОтветитьNot being able to manage the G is why I quit lessons in 7th grade.
ОтветитьMe: move my second finger
My brain: Third finger
Me: No second finger
My brain: THIRD FINGER
AHHHHHHHHHHHH
Is it just me that thinks my hand is too small for this?🥲🤣
ОтветитьAm I the only one who, when plucking the strings individually, the low E sounds almost like a low twang?
In other words, it's not a crisp & clear sound like Justin demonstrates.
Thoughts (anyone)?
My third finger is simply not long enough
Ответитьeverytime i press on the e string at the third fret (by it self) it always buzzes but when i dont press the e string sounds normal, is that supposed to be like that?
ОтветитьThe beginner guitar journey is really diverse. Some people as I have read struggled with the D and C Chord but found G easy. D and C came to me perfectly in a day while G chord is trying to make me break my joints lol
ОтветитьThis is the most legit guitar channel
ОтветитьThe G chord is the only one I have a problem with as i damaged my third finger when I was younger so my finger buckles and ends up straight when I try to press down on the low E string if that makes sense.
ОтветитьMy ring finger jets up is that normal?
ОтветитьExcellent and so we’ll explained,, thank you
ОтветитьPretty easy thanks though
ОтветитьThanks 😊
ОтветитьIs there no other way to do it?
ОтветитьThe G-chord have 4 quite common ways to be played. Like this with finger 1,2 and 3 (which i don't recommend if you are ambitious), with 4 fingers (much used in bluesgrass, for instance), as a barré chord, and with finger 2, 3 and 4. If you have ambitions on your instrument, I suggest to rather start with the finger 2, 3 and 4 version, and skip the way it is teached in this video, because it will then be much better in combination with C, E-minor, Gsus4, G7, Gmaj 7, and the C/G chord (and in fact a lot more) I actually mean that the G-chord should not be teached like in this video at all...
ОтветитьRIP Norm McDonald
ОтветитьSo do you strum all the strings when your fingers are all in place
ОтветитьI'm wondering if there are others who play the G chord like me. Same strings and fret but with the ring finger on the 3rd fret of the low E string, index on the 2nd fret of the A string and pinky on the high E string. It was a cheaty way for teenage me to be able to play able to play "About a girl" by Nirvana, as this made it easier to go from chords E to G. Ring and index finger on the 2nd fret of the A and D string for the E chord, lifting up the index and then using the pinky and ring fingers to get the G chord.
Ответить13yrs old.
N m here today. 30Nov 2022
Thanks 👍
ОтветитьThis wasn't a hard chord for me just a little bit practice and i got very good at it.
ОтветитьI have no problem with the 3rd finger, it's the second one muting the first which is getting me.
This is the first cord I've have a problem with this.
My fingers still don't want to bend to cleanly play chords.
ОтветитьThis chord is very danger
ОтветитьWow Your G neous
ОтветитьHe looks like oli London..
ОтветитьThis is a great chord to learn if you want to dislocate all your fingers.
ОтветитьG is ez but the d fu** out here
Ответитьim a newbie this chord is really hard my third finger be very pain to hold it
ОтветитьWow, I'm watching this exactly 13 years later, same day!
ОтветитьIt's the hardest chord for me as a beginner.
ОтветитьThis chord sounds like ass
ОтветитьComing from someone who plays keyboard for 9 plus years, its very ez
ОтветитьMy thumb STRUGGLES because i need to get my finger tips on the strings so i need to reach my hand forwards but my hands are too small. The side of my thumb is against the guitar but if i dont do that then i cant get my 3rd finger on the 1st string but it hurts. Im a beginner but im wondering if my hands are just too small
Ответитьthank you so much. this video help a lot.
ОтветитьThis g chord is kicking my ass
ОтветитьMy fingers are twitching and numb I've been playing for three hours straight trying to get this all so I can play one song
ОтветитьMy fingers hurt buh still on it
ОтветитьFirst guitar. This chord and the b minor are making me want to smash my guitar. Short fingers don't help. What hand are you supposed to strum with?
Is the thin string number 1 or 6?
Thanks for this lesson, sometimes blaming the finger that not long enough 😃 but Im sure just need to practice and more practice..
ОтветитьMel Bay's chords are different and more complex...this is easier his way is 2, 3, 4 with pinky on the high e
ОтветитьMan the body of my middle finger keeps pressing the lower string , causing the sound to be HORRIBLE , no matter how much try I am not able to only press the six string.
ОтветитьVery Nice..
Ответитьcoming back to this one just because Justin seems to be flipping me off on the thumbnail. Honestly love your content and have learned so much through your website!
