Small Business Saturday: Why support local? How does it impact you? | Morning in America

Ok.... except local means you are paying 1.5-3x the cost for the same crap. Yea, some things like produce might be a bit fresher, but for the most part the differences are so minimal that it isn't worth spending several times more money on the same thing.

Bottom line is that if those who make a lot of money want to support them, then more power to you. No way can a person making the average income consistently buy 100% local from small businesses.
