My favorite part of this video is getting to see regular people in a very different place being regular people. China is portrayed as very stern and serious to us, and I love reminders that people are people! Alan is the coolest for hosting - this looks like it was an incredible experience for everyone.

As a Chinese has lived in Canada for about 10 years, people here say shit about China and they hasn’t even been to China. A couple of guys exceptional were the guys who has actually been to China. And the Canadian media is full of lies about China. I guess that’s the reason.

Damn. Been living here almost eight years. The Chinese people are fantastic. Great hosts, curious and great people to be around once you get to know them. I have my rough days here but most of my life in China is fantastic. It's a far cry from the bullshit spouted in local media back home. It's great to see positive stories about the place, rather than negative propaganda.

I met a Chinese guy about a month ago that reminded me of Allen. When I left the club in Shinjuku at 3 am I wondered around completely lost with my phone dead and ended sitting on a random staircase about a 40 minute walk away from where I was originally. Then I met 2 random Chinese guys when asking for directions and they welcomed me in their apartment until 7 am when I took the train back to where I was living. They bought me beer, had a cigar with me, played the guitar + violin, and just talked with me about each of our home countries. What a great night and I'm thankful they welcomed a complete stranger in their home.
