If she’s a pop singer and first time performing opera professionally, she did so nice.
If she’s an opera singer, then it’s so dirty. It’s just like sounding and matching those high notes,not singing. I didn’t feel anything from 5th element.

Best live rendition of this song. Back when the movie was released it was said to be impossible to sing because the track was a mix of multiple takes from a famous soprano, Inva Mula. Mula then sang it live to prove it could indeed be sung. But this is hands down the best version I’ve heard

Never thought I would put these two names in the same sentence but Elina gives so much Gaga energy here in this performance (Applause VMA 2013; Observe the facial expressions). Truly phenomenal! Genuine gourmet artist, and bless our lucky star we can experience this for free. I'm so grateful I found this. Ever since Eurovision, I cannot and will not forget gorgeous Elina. I wish for her a long, healthy life and thriving career!

This is an amazing rendition - where many who attempt this augment difficult to sing portions with synth (including the movie original), Elina sings it all herself with a beautiful voice! For the truest (technically correct) version I've heard yet check out Laura Workman's performance.
