ОтветитьReally appreciate this series on Lebanon. I personally think that engaging with the locals is a major aspect of traveling. I hope you guys got to interact more with the Lebanese people and if you did, we'd like to see it in your videos. Safe travels
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. Can you fly drones in Lebanon, like for filming tourist things from the air…
ОтветитьIm Lebanese. comparing downtown to when i was 13 (2012) and again when i was 18 (2017) is so sad. Downtown used to be full of life and not walled off. There used to be events and fashion shows even like victoria's secret in the middle of downtown. Its so sad seeing my capital city so dead.
ОтветитьLebanon is very beautiful country ,with the most corrupt politicians ,from the president till the simple employee in the government ,and the most stupid people who elected the same thieves
ОтветитьI miss the chance to meet you guys. I live near raouche ( grotte aux pigeons) , your video reportage are amazing ,anyway you're welcome whenever you come back to lebanon. 💕 💞
ОтветитьLebanon was a more than 90% Christian country. Muslims moved in during a war, the lebanese christians welcomed them and in 30 yeas Muslims took over.
Ответить$44.00/night is not bad
ОтветитьBrazil has a large Lebanese population as well.
ОтветитьI wish u can concentrate on the bright side and touristic side ! Not the explosion, bullets, gunmen! There are a lot to see other that this history
ОтветитьThis is the most depressing review about beirut ! U r really depressing ! People go there to have fun and there is a lot of fun everywhere but u are only concentrating on war and ruined buildings ! Beirut is way better than this
ОтветитьTo be honest Lebanon🇱🇧🇱🇧 is a great country despite of their pains and sufferings brought by their worst government I hope it will become better someday coming from the Philippines.
ОтветитьIn the late '70s a neighbour of my parents was a retired airline pilot who'd flown as a pilot for BOAC and then MEA and had retired to Beirut. He'd come back to Manchester when things got dangerous in Lebanon and he also described it as the Monaco of the Eastern Mediterranean. It's nice to see a travel vlog from some unusual places, keep up the great work.
ОтветитьThe buildings you visited are part of the Solidere project, the buildings are renovation of the old face of Beirut which was accessible to all people and everything from spice markets to cafes. Beirut was completely destroyed in the Civil War, and was rebuilt under the Solidere Project to make way for only luxurious shops and offices, kicking out old tenants and owners. The Solidere eventually didn’t keep up and the shops remained unoccupied and mostly closed. The explosion gave it the deathblow. Most occupants left, and Solidere which has nothing to do with the authentic Beirut remained a hollow shell of a ghost of the past
ОтветитьI am guessing most of the local population has already left the country. I am very sorry about the situation in Lebanon, they are such nice and kind people. Lots of love and respect from Turkey.
ОтветитьThat wacky crazy building is a mall to be, designed by the late Zaha Hadid
ОтветитьThanks a lot for this. I have now decided to buy my ticket to Beirut for the end of october.
ОтветитьI have a question what happened to the tyrians and zidonians who live in Phoenicia before it was called Lebanon

ОтветитьSad that such a beautiful country has so many economic, social and political. Some of my family on my mother’s side came from here. It was the Rivera of the Middle East
ОтветитьIt looks like Rio and São Paulo
ОтветитьBeirut use to be the party city of the Middle East
ОтветитьPeople only make 10% of what they use to make! The Lebanese pound is with nothing! Sad
ОтветитьI want to cry
ОтветитьThe Art work is fabulous
ОтветитьI love Brazil too
ОтветитьLots of Lebanese in Brazil, this is very true
ОтветитьThe rich Lebanese are so classy! Lots of them in London
ОтветитьReminds me of Leblon in Rio
ОтветитьYou know when you are in a rich area! There’s two types of people in Lebanon most making less than 90 percent, 1/3 in poverty and a small minority making and paid in US dollars! Mega corruption of the government
ОтветитьYour girlfriend Carol looks Lebanese
ОтветитьExcellent travel vlog. Happy travels from our channel: Australian Parakeets Stars
ОтветитьWould love to visit Lebanon , I have a friend who lives 30 to 40 minutes north of Beirut she tells me . Thank you for the tip on the exchange rate with the currency !
ОтветитьBeirut is Lebanon's seat of government and plays a central role in the Lebanese economy, with many banks and corporations based in the city. Beirut is an important seaport for the country and region, and rated a Beta + World City by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network.

ОтветитьThis country has suffered so much, from civil war, to war with Israel and then a massive explosion. I hope Lebanon finds its feet to sort out the financial issues it’s facing now and Lebanese will enjoy peace and prosperity in the future
