Nice one.... had and still have my modified 89 for 23 years and will never get rid of it either.....
ОтветитьBeautiful car always been a big fan of the iroc .. love the style of late 80s models I own 88 mustang gt had it for 22 years
ОтветитьWell done video. So great to see a car kept and loved over 30 years. Lots of temptations to sell or trade throughout those years. My 91 RS has the 305 with 29k miles. My 88 TA GTA has 67k with the 350 TPI. Definately dream cars for sure.
Ответить86 was the first and only year, that the Camaro had the top mounted brake light.
ОтветитьThis is exactly like my first Camaro. 😍
ОтветитьNice car
ОтветитьMegusta yo tengo uno d1986 color blanco
Ответитьvery nice im in new zealand and have the same year but the rs with a 305 under 80,000 kms
ОтветитьStill sounds better than 90% of the cars sold today. Humm maybe 95%.
ОтветитьHad a 89 RS badass cars loved it would love to have that Iraq git-r-done
ОтветитьYou are no longer an owner, you are a caretaker. I have a 83 that is a pure joy, you know it when you cant park and simply walk away without turning around and looking at it. Kudos to you for doing everything right.
ОтветитьI have the same color but in 1988 305 5 speed manual and convertible love it. Beautiful car you have thanks for sharing your story.
ОтветитьNICE CAR BROTHER I MIGHT BE GETTING MINE SOON EXACT SAME BEAUTIFUL CAR MY DREAM CAR SINCE A KID
ОтветитьI have a black one nice car
ОтветитьThere was barely any difference in horsepower between the 305 and the 350. I honestly prefer the 305 5 speed over an automatic car any day of the week. Especially when its the car that I'm only driving here and there, I want it to be a manual.
ОтветитьI had the same car, except it was blue, a 1988, a 5 speed, and it was a Mustang.
ОтветитьWhere’s he 5.7 Tuned Port Injection tag on the rear bumper?
ОтветитьThe 305 twin cat with the 5spd stick was faster than the 350 automatics.
ОтветитьI have an 88 same paint with tan interior and solid hard top. Love it, my first car was hrd top 85 and just love the 3rd gens
ОтветитьI purchsed my LB9 '88 IROC/t-tops/5-speed new off the lot. I store it every winter and have put 130k miles on it. I rebuilt the engine a few years ago. Never plan to sell it. I've told my boys that I will be buried in it:-)
ОтветитьNot driving a vehicle to keep it low mile is like not having sex with your wife or girlfriend to keep her tight for the next guy!! Just saying!
ОтветитьHow many miles?
ОтветитьBeautiful looking car with the exception of the concrete gray interior. I would change it to a black or a tan color interior.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this beauty. Love to see these preserved. I'm in my 50's and I purchased a super low mile mint 1 owner '94 Z28 T-top full load car this summer and I am in love all over again! Love the LT1 power and sound. Love the 3rd gen Irocs and Z28's as much just harder to find in mint shape like the one you shared here.
ОтветитьOmg... What a gorgeous Iroc! Love everything about it! Especially the color. Thank you for sharing your story.
ОтветитьWow ! Is all I could say when these came out , & I would really would have taken one of these over the Corvette ! But I would have to have it in a convertible . Your passion shows in the care of this fine automobile & she is a beauty ! Thanks for sharing the 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z with us, & your story.
ОтветитьWhat tape should be in this car's cassette player?
ОтветитьBeautiful car
ОтветитьBeautiful car man I want one so bad
ОтветитьNice. My bro had exact one. I got to drive it a lot.
ОтветитьI have one sitting in my garage. It's black with a red interior. It used to belong to my Grandfather. He bought it when he was in his late 80's. Way too much car for him to drive so I bought it from him and gave it to my Husband as a gift.
ОтветитьGod... I'd suck a dick to be able to get one of these cars x_x
ОтветитьGald to see you found your keeper. Looks really well kept. I worked at the Van Nuys plant 87-90. I had worked for a Div of GM for years and was lay off. I got recalled to work at Van Nuys 90 miles away, so I report there I had never worked on an assembly line. Camaros and Firebird, What an eye opener. I wish I could have made my own special
Camaro! or Firebird. I was amazed that they let people Photo their car as it went down the line. That was COOL. Funny how when you build a car even if It's over 500 a night, per shift you never see them the same way even after all these years. You got a Great car Sir. Enjoy the ride!
I love these cars all these years later it's still my favorite
ОтветитьI love my 350 IROC!
ОтветитьThat is an absolutely gorgeous IROC! Kudos to you, sir, for being an excellent caretaker.👍👍👍
ОтветитьNice one 👍🇺🇸 and glad I found your channel and thanks for sharing with us 👍 from Alabama 🇺🇸 watching 👍
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful car. I had a 1989 IROC 5.7 to import fuel injected maroon with gray interior and T-tops. I also had a 1984 Camaro Z28 Ho with the 700 R4 Transmission and Rochester 4 barrel carburetor. Two of the best cars I ever owned hands down.
ОтветитьHad a 1991 Z28 for 18 years it had the 305 tuneport injection had it rebuilt, balance, and blue, print ,port and polish heads little bit bigger cams in the factory JE forged pistons, but everything else around that motor was completely original down to the AC Delco battery and it would smoke a 350 lIrock or Z 28.
ОтветитьWOW that is a nice IROC and he is rite on as it is the best handling of the camaro,s
ОтветитьSweet ride exactly the way I would want it and take care of it. We have a 1989 IROC Convertible all numbers matching low mileage.
ОтветитьWhat a sexy car, my favorite year is an 85 and I prefer the 305 versus the 350 as they are more reliable. I love 3rd gens ,my 84 z28 is a factory carb car she has a factory 305 / 700r4 auto she isn't a race car. These 3rd gens are porno to the eyes and ride and steer perfect . I love all camaros but only buy and drive 3rd gens
ОтветитьLove this Bud I saw an IROC mint like yours. But the guy installed a GPS system right above the radio on the little ledge It looks like 😮came with the car
ОтветитьI sold Chevy’s from 1988 to 2004 !!!
Ответитьwow. love it.
ОтветитьI like it
ОтветитьI will like to buy it😅
ОтветитьI bought a new 1988 IROZ and I ordered it with the stick shift . Mine was the same ext color but I ordered it with the saddle leather interior .
