Four years away from 70yo, you saying don't fast? I was definitely overweight (not obese) and have lost seven pounds in four weeks, now in normal range. Also walk 3kms a day, planning to increase that to 5kms a day. Seeing too many benefits so far to quit.

I can't sleep I feeling stressed out and very overwhelmed with all the diseases I have and me haveing breast cancer and pancreatic cancer in my stomach no wonder I was throwing up blood that look like coffee grinds ok this trueth ok this why I been crying so much ok no one seems to understand or care ok I am literally dieing ok for me have ing congestive heart faluire ok and me haveing breast cancer ok and pancreatic cancer ok and lupus autoimmune dieasee no wonder I feel so exhausted all the time and very very fatigue ok this trueth why I been crying ok like right now ok I am haveing a seizure well my husband Javier sleeping ok I am feeling very very uncomfortable ok I take seizure medicine my whole body shacking from seizures right now this why I feel horrible and very very overwhelmed ok and stressed out at same time

I did not eat all day yesterday until dinner time so like I was fasting I need more veggies and fruits to eat for my cancer diet I have to let Javier know because we go grocery shopping together every time I have not sleep all day and night long not good for my breast cancer and pancreatic cancer or my bleeding stomach ulcer and my congestive heart faluire plus lupus autoimmune dieasee no wonder I feel very very exhausted all the time dealing with two many deadly diseases why I been crying and javier dose not understand what I am going through can you please explain to him were he unstands what's going on with my body please he got mad at me last night because i could not sleep i was in pain ok I started to cry because the pain was so severe ok and he did not understand what i was going through because he not liveing in my body ok please explain to your brother what's going on with my body please so he dose not get over whelmed or frustrated with me when i am in pain .

when you referred leptin as the hunger hormone, i think you meant to say ghrelin. leptin is a satiety signal.

Hang on, you talk about a study done on pre diabetic men fasting from 8 to 3, whose metabolic health improved but experienced no weightloss, and then you carry on talking as if that didn't just happen... WHAT!?!?!? A STUDY SHOWS AN 18/6 INTERMITTENT FASTING SHOWS ZERO WEIGHTLOSS?? Shouldn't we talk about this? Okay this is huge, for me anyway, don't know about you all.

If you are 69 years of age and obese can you combine a 12 hour eating window with a healthy diet with minimum added sugar and lots of protein to lose fat?

I eat food between 9 -10 Am in the morning. At evening i eat at 5-6PM which means from 7PM night to till morning 9-10 AM i don't eat. This is my routine for eating. And i don't eat during day after 9-10AM food till 5-6PM evening food. Os this diet routine good???

Eating within 2 hours of wakeing is not recommended. Melatonin levels are still high, this hormone prevents the pancreas working normally

I was 200 lbs at 5'2. I started Aug 2023 not eating dinner after 7pm and not eat after 9pm. Which I would eat healthy snacks until. So from 9pm cut of time to 12 or 1pm I don't eat but drink water or drink green tea that I do in a pitcher. I don't drink sweet drinks like orange juice etc.

It was 10 hrs at first but increased it and it worked for me until I got used to it. I fast 16 hrs a day with monjouro.

The reason, I had cancer, it gave me lymphedema on my left arm while doing chemo, it swells up. I had high AC1 7.6, high blood pressure and fatty liver which scared me.

I now am 167 lbs and did it without working out, but I started to tone. My AC1 was 7.6 when I started, now 5 5, no high blood pressure, my arm is so much better from the swelling even though it's a lifetime disability because chemo did so much damage to the arm with the arteries. I'm going to check my liver this month. I can breath better while walking up the stairs and can walk more blocks now.

The most exciting part, are my clothes. I was an XL shirt size and was almost going to fit in a XXL size, now I'm fitting into a Medium and I had to buy pants from 14 to a 10. It's not only the monjouro, it was the intermittent fasting because I was using the Ozempic for 3 months and didn't see any results and no fasting. Then I switched to Monjouro and the first 2 months I tested and lost but didn't see the results as much and my numbers from AC1 was a tad down. After I started to fast and it all changed everything. My health improved and I lost weight 33 so far. I have 40 more to go until I reach 125 and then. workout my muscles. I can't do too much weight because I built muscles fast on my legs especially. I'm happy now and feel so much better. 😊🎉🙏🏼 It's a game change for life. So worth it you won't regret it and you'll learn to eat less and more healthy, your stomach feels full when you eat less, as it gets smaller.

studies have shown that significantly reducing caloric intake does produce measurable reductions in a person's stomach capacity.

I always consider "how did we evolve?" - 300,000 years of homo sapiens eating real organic foods of the land. A hunter gatherer diet, unintentional intermittent fasting during the hunting and gathering, lots of walking and moving to conduct these processes. 300,000 years of biological programming that maintains a fit body for these processes.

Insulin sensitivity is likely at epidemic proportions today and this is the modern snacking on processed sugar and carbs and simply when in doubt... focus on the least processed protein along with veggies. Limit the fruit and preferably to desert before bed time to align with the circadian rhythm. Morning fruit is ideal when you're in great shape without excess insulin sensitivity (body can handle it more reasonably).

If you have intense hunter cravings through the day, seriously consider the "bullet-proof" cocktail of grass-fed butter and MCT oil blended in a morning beverage such as coffee, tea, or bone broth. A game changer for curving hunger and feeling more energized with intermittent fasting throughout the day. Bullet-proof coffee is typically the popular choice but if you respectably want to avoid caffiene as well for an even greater gut health benefit, tea or bone broth (especially for intense weight lifters) are alternative choices.

67 yr, male, smoker. I used intermittent fasting for over 6 months. I went from over 100 kg to 70 kg, waist 100 cm to 90cm and my blood pressure came down. First cycle was 3 days, eat as usual, 4th day fast. First weeks were hard but then much easier. But what I found significant was during my normal days I was "full" with less and less. Maybe the behavior modification was more effective than the caloric restriction. I may not be as strict about it, but is now my new "normal".

Please can someone help and advise? My mum is 60 years old, fit but needs to lose 10 kilos at least. She has her dinner at 5 pm and finishes eating by 5.30 pm. Her next meal is eaten the next day at 2.30 pm. She has been doing this since a month but has not lost anything so far. Where is she going wrong??

For about a month ive been not eating until 5 oclock. Then i eat until im almost full .i do have some cheat days. But ive lost a good amount of weight and feel a lot better. I'm also a heavy smoker and I drink alcohol too but I run and lift weights too

steps i did.
1. only eat from 8AM-8PM. unlimited. any thing any amount.
2. then if i get hungry after 8PM then tough luck. only water.
3. then soon enough i learn that eating lots of sweets and refined carbs will make me hungry soon.
4. so i switch to eating more natural fats and vegetables and meats.
5. so now i don't get hungry after 8PM. and if i do, then tough luck. here's some water lol.

Careful folks. I became skeletal over a year. Once you’re lean remember to swing it back to a wider eating window, can be a blind spot because it happens (relatively) gradually…. body dysmorphia is a thing.

Hi thanks for sharing this video. I have been doing intermitent fasting 1x or 2x a week; usually Mondays and Thursdays. I fast from 3pm to 8am. Question is it safe to do physical exercise before 8am on the day when I stop the fast? Usually I go for 1 hr or 2hr cycling or sometimes walking; and on the mornings where I have been fasting for about 16hrs, I feel quite weak; like slower on the bike; kind of less strong than usual if I am lifting; or less focused; even concentration seems less. So, noticing that my performace is lower at the end of the fast brought me to ask the questions; is it normal to feel less strong?
Is it safe to do physical workouts at the end of a fast?
Should I fast on slow days or days off only i.e days where I do not do physical work or work that require concentration i.e business meetings ?
I am 43 yo and I do not have any medical conditions. Thanks

I have been on my new food lifestyle for 90 days. I am greedy for even more success. I sleep all through the night. No more peeing in the middle of the night. My joints don't hurt. My sinuses are 98%better. I eat 1 to 2 times a day in a 5 to 6 hour window. I eat macros of 90%+ meat. Small amount of fresh fruit as desert. Lost 35 lbs in 90 days. 215 to 180. My one complaint is I now am too small for my pants. I also walk almost every day and do some isometrics.

In my case, over age 70, intermittant fasting with a healthy diet over a six month period led to weight loss of 20%, increase muscle mass, better sleep, more energy, and overall health improvement. Wonderful video covering every detail to better health.
I would add that homoginized milk can be a problem. I've proven this by the process of elimination and re-introduction. Sadly recent research has overlooked, denied or ignored the xanthine oxidase enzyme research of the 70's and 80's. I can drink raw or pasturized milk without health issues, but not homogenized. My choice now is raw or none.
