ОтветитьI have tried to like Ryebread many times especially as a child because I thought it was chocolate bread wow was I disappointed😂 but all the pumpernickel bread that I must’ve eaten was made with whole wheat flour I’m assuming because I love pumpernickel bread. We used to get the little tiny sliced loaves they were maybe 2“ x 2“ and we would bake them with different things on top to make hors d’oeuvres.

ОтветитьI’ve been trying to hack the bread they used to serve at Ruby Tuesday (and later just the dark brown croutons.) It’s like this but deeper. Might be some black cocoa and some brown.

ОтветитьAs a German I must laugh, when I see that you call this bread Pumpernickel 😂. In fact this bread has nothing to do with the real Pumpernickel. I heard that sometimes Aldi sell the real Pumpernickel. Try it and you see the difference 😊
