Hmm. Odd. I put back in the batteries that came with the remote, thinking it was odd that the inside of the remote had little metal things where the batteries will be. Are the batteries it comes with the only ones that work with it? I changed thinking the batteries died but it wouldn’t work without the original batteries. Green ones

Just curious why would you need to do the first option if you already have control of the remote?

Yea mine just stopped working one day. I typically really like google but was very odd. I typically prefer the official but the onn android tv box might be slightly better. Better remote and only 20 bucks and also pretty bone stock android tv which is always a plus. Only think the official has over is lil bit faster updates with the new google tv over android tv.

hey thanku for the vid I have been researching and changed the batteries and held the home button tried to get a remote app and tried these. my remote light just stays a solid colour and will not pulse any suggestions? So frustrating

Tried EVERYTHING, wouldn't pair. Then I turned on Bluetooth AND WiFi and it worked, this will not pair without Bluetooth on. Least for me it wouldn't.
