Hey Guys, Great Video and you're right, everybody's so doom and gloom on full time RV life when its not at all. It's what you make of every situation. I'll have to agree with Katrina on this though. We did full time for almost 3 years and the 2 things I herd from my wife Kim was a Bathtub and Closet space but we enjoyed it while it lasted. I guess my only complaint was, I never want to live where I love to visit and I got burnt out on being in the RV and traveling buy I think you guys have it covered though. Cheers!

Thanks for another honest and positive video. We’re also heading into our 4th year and the unexpected will always happen. Our Tucker has had so many different issues like a fox tail in his ear, eating something on the beach that made him sick…….things we never thought of. My whole entire outlook has changed being on the road and it’s due to people like the two of you that we meet along the way.

Hey guys we are right with you on keeping it positive and getting out if you can and however you can don't wait for that wake up call!! We are not fans of Thousand Trails we have watched enough videos and we just don't want to be locked in we have a couple spots we love and we like staying at a few but we will just pay as we go with them we find that worth it. Also agree on Harvest Host we have been members for almost 7 years and love them and find it great but yes Katrina I have pointed out to Ron that I am pretty positive we may spend more and have no hook ups but it depends cause would we still go out anyway? The RV experiences are so priceless so glad your enjoying every moment! CHRIS we are ready for your next Season!! 😊 Hope we see you guys again in 2025 gonna have to come up with something big!! 😊

Thank you for sharing about editing and sometimes you’re in the camper editing. This summer it was difficult for me to balance editing and wanting to go explore especially since Chase takes the summer off. I’m not the fastest (I’m getting better but still) It’s not always going and doing fun stuff everyday lol but I do enjoy making the videos so it’s worth it! Love yalls channel!!

We are into our second year…….full time! I’m most grateful that I don’t have to clean my big house and rake the leaves in our big yard…..lol! We are camp hosts in a Florida State Park (finishing a 4 month tour). We are on our way to another camp hosts in position and then to a very large park for the summer months. We have met the best people……and we will be close to family this next year. ❤ oh, you were an inspiration before we started.

Thanks for the Information = but that is to let me know that I DO NOT WANT RV "lifestyle"! You call the positives = but they are NEGATIVES for me!
Too many opportunities for issues!

I like my simple life in a nice quiet neighborhood in large city.
Have only 2 neighbors and we are all respectfully h quiet and mind our own business = yet Friendly when we see each other in Passi gi want QUIET and Stability.
Easy access to trains busses bike oaths parks golf course big lake harbor
Shopping A HUGE VARIETY OF RESTAURANTS
NO NEGATIVES HERE and affordable easy living

Congrats. We're on our 6th winter ourselves. We're snowbirds who will winter over where it's warm, usually in one place but no more than 2-3 places. The rest of the year we travel, boondocking for up to 2 weeks in one place (the typical FS and BLM limit) exploring the area we are in before moving to our next wilderness adventure. This winter we are visiting family in NC, but we usually winter over in the desert SW or the RGV of TX. FT RVing gives the opportunity to visit family from Florida to California and see friends in most states in-between we might not have seen for many years. If we lived in one location, we couldn't do this as our family is so spread out around the country. I miss long hot showers as we have been living off grid for the last 2 years and water is a precious commodity when you must haul it to and from. I guess it's telling but the most expensive place we overnight at is Walmart. Second is Cracker Barrel, as we never pay for an overnight stay when traveling.

We have no club memberships other than Escapees (for their excellent roadside assistance plan that's only $109/yr) and FMCA, for their Tech Connect wireless internet plan. We save so much money by living off grid that we can afford to splurge by eating out regularly without worrying about our budget, as we live well within our meager retirement income. We are debt free, have an adequate emergency fund, a moderate savings and IRA and have the highest credit score we've ever had, so when emergencies inevitably arise, we're prepared. We're like you, planning for 4-5hr travel days, as you never know what's going to happen on the road. Bad things sometimes happen to good people whether you're living in an RV or not. It rains on everyone from time to time. For instance, we lost a dog to a seizure on the road, and I was laid up for a while battling covid, but this would have likely happened regardless how we were living. So far, we've been truly blessed, as we've suffered less than most. We've had far fewer mechanical issues than expected, considering we live in a 25-yr old motorhome. Looking back, I have to say that going FT was the best decision we ever made.

Great video, really enjoy your channel! You tell it like it is for sure. Full time here 10 years. When we started there were no content creators, just written blogs! It does get easier the longer you live this lifestyle. I can't imagine any other life, but I know it is coming as we get older and things "happen" as you say. We wish we had started in our 50's ILO waiting until retirement. We live in such a BEAUTIFUL country. We have discovered after living on the east coast for 40 years we now spend our time out west where we love the beauty and the solitude. We still workamp in the summer and do our own thing in the winter. Cruising is our hobby when not working. Last winter an 18 day cruise to Hawaii, coming up a 35 day cruise to Hawaii and Tahiti. Living with less "stuff" is just wonderful. Keep up the good work, looking forward to following your travels. PS - NO fan of TT here, just another time share thing, would never never buy into that for sure, but to each his/her own.

I'm with Chris on his toughts for Harvest Hosts.
We are not full time and at this time don't think too much about the budget when we are traveling. Yes, I have a general idea and do not overdo it regularly. But there are many times, where we may not get this opportunity again, so spend away.

Totally agree with your take in the content creators blowing things out of proportion. My wife and I have said that we are tired of seeing some creators looking for issues and hoping for bad things to happen so they get more views ! Things will happen… dont force it. And at times minimize the BS!! This message approved by Dick Butkus…🤣🤣

Great video Chris and Katrina! I remember Tuckers eye. Is it doing better? This is great to hear your point of view of rving. And the downfalls. I hear Katrina with not having a bath tub. I would miss it too! But I think I heard or saw one of those inflatable tubs. I think I saw it on an infomercial. I was watching that Rvtv only saw Mike and Susan on there and that Rv center. Then I went back to when it was in and never found again. I’ll try and look again and see you on there. Can’t comment but can watch. You both are doing great with the content. Hopefully one day we’ll meet up! I would love that. Hope you are both ready for Christmas. Few more days left. I hope you a great and Merty Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎄🎁🎅🤶Lice you both and Tucker! ❤❤❤🤗😘

Another great video. Such practical info from the heart! We too are full time and enjoying it. Very few negatives. We feel we see more of family and grandkids because we have a motorhome. Only big negative is unanticipated emergencies, tornado evacuations, road break downs and busting the budget. Keep up the great content! Keep it real unlike so many content producers that are scripted and full of themselves and clickbaite. 😂

Yeah what’s with all the drama? If it’s that bad why are those other people out there doing it??? Oh I just thought of a theory- maybe those people are trying to make it unappealing to keep FT living to their selves 🤔. Agree HH are not cheap. We planned on getting TT but now you have me second guessing that plan. Do you think it has actually saved you money in the end? Merry Christmas to you guys- hope you enjoy the holidays with your family before heading west!

Hello. I agree with Harvest Host.. I cancelled mine. I used it 3 times in 2 years. The spending $30 at the location .. is not worth it to me for no hookups. I know many say it is an adventure... or a something, but... I agree 3-4 hrs is better (I think). Thanks for sharing. Safe travels.

Pro tip: when you expect vehicle life (rv) to be like your other life - it’s expensive, complicated, frustrating, disappointing…

Im very happy with my simple life in my transit van. No reservations, to hookup issues, no disruptive neighbors. That’s precisely why I chose this uncomplicated life.

We have explored more of this country because we own an RV. Just last night, we were discussing this with my sister-in-law, who travels with us, and was nearly in tears from the incredible places we've visited. She would never have traveled like this or seen so much of the country otherwise. While we are not full-timers, we travel quite a bit, and it’s always an adventure.

I really enjoy your videos because they convey the positive aspects of RVing. Our friends often think we don’t encounter issues because we don’t dwell on them, but on our last trip, both of our slides failed to retract, and we had to call an RV repair technician to come to the campground to fix them. However, this issue was just a small part of our overall experience. Anyone who has traveled in an RV knows that challenges will arise, and we have chosen to embrace those moments rather than let them derail our trips. Again, keep doing what you do.
