Made-in-China Anti-aircraft Gun: Better than the German Gepard? How good is the PGZ-09 really?

Does it have airburst ammunition also ? There is a German sistem not Gepart its another but it has programmable airburst ammunition and its good against small drones ,loitering ammunition etc ,possibly 40mm would be better.

As for the opinion that the Chinese version of the 35mm AA gunsystem being of lesser quality than the original may no longer be true, as China has made huge progress in small caliber auto cannon technology in recent decades -- people can see that from the 30mm 7*30 and the 11*30 Gatlin guns widely used on navy ships and even used for the PLAA for close-in defence. The reliability of the automatic firing mechanisms for them are further proven with the numerous Gatlin machine guns displayed by China, ranging from 5.8mm right to 14.5mm. However, the use of steel casing for the shells amy cause some minor problem.
