First of all, let me say that I have been watching Rescue 911 since I was in kindergarten in 1990, and out of all the episodes, this happens to be my favorite and the best! I remember the old days when CBS showed Rescue 911 on Tuesday nights and in order to know what episodes were going to be shown, you either had to watch what’s coming up or I think the TV Guide for the week told you. Yes, remember the TV Guide? Well I couldn’t wait to watch this every time it was on.

It was really sad to see the very last statement that Rhonda had died a few years later from complications due to her injuries. I did not look in the detail as far as what happened, but the husband should be convicted of murder now. Not just attempted murder, in which he tried to commit, because the complications from Rhonda’s injuries led to her death, her husband is responsible for what happened to his wife.

While bingo does deserve credit... It was the good thinking of the two deputies that saved her... Them thinking about how the a-hold husband would do it as well as never giving up when the first spot didn't work, them noticing the tire tracks and definitely the detective (and others) never believing the husband's story. That woman is definitely an inspiration... Didn't give up. She saved herself too plus probably luck and/ or fate played a role. Impressive all around. persistence pays off. Husband... Go to hell and stay locked up
