it's 2 years old now, but still relevant.

I am moving my first steps into interactive brokers and i have a doubt.
I want to buy a certain ETF (IE00BDFL4P12) which i know for sure it's available from Interactive Brokers, because i saw it from a friend using the TWS. However when using the webportal i can't find it.
I can't understand what i am doing wrong. Maybe something in the account setup? Any idea?

I have successfully opened the account after watching many rounds of your vids, I am being logged out within few mins while searching for Lock and Exit button. Thanks for your video. My first order on IBKR is on pending for over a day now so I found your video while I am searching on it. I can see that your order goes straight to the "Submitted" status while my case is "PreSubmitted". I set the TIME-IN-FORCE to "Day" as well but the order is stuck there more than a day. Does anyone know why?

Can someone explain please, what the hell are all the s&p 500 listings? What is voo (vanguard) or vuza? Isnt s&p 500 just stocks of 500 companies? So whats up with all those names? And not a single video explains all those names, they go just „ ok, lets buy s&p 500, so search for voo“ wth is voo? Is it so obvious that does not need explanation?
