Why is arc so completely and ridiculously difficult to use?

Using cad for the last 20 years I can produce a map 10 times faster with less headaches than stumbling my way through this horrible program.

I've asked many many many questions to many different people and I never seem to get a clear answer.

What is the difference between arc and cad? Why wouldn't you export your information to cad and make your life easier?

My ArcGIS Pro is not letting me click on a cell and just edit in a value. I saw that you just clicked on a cell and started typing a value in the place of <Null>. How do I do that?

I cant see your pointer moving on the screen so I am constantly frustrated when you say thing like 'you go here and save' or 'you click on this feature' and I am trying to see a change on the screen by which time you have moved on, its a bit exhausting.
