Paying over 5k for a ceramic Tudor is wild. Online the asking price and the selling price are two different things, especially considering the fees ebay and chrono24 take. After selling one of these I doubt one would be able to recover even half the MSRP. I see them on offer up for around $2500 asking price which is the current market value for those. Heritage 41 for even less than that.
ОтветитьCeramic watches just don’t look like luxury. They look like something citizen sells for $60. That’s why they don’t hold their value. If you like them, a good buy used.
ОтветитьIs that a crack in the ceramic in min 2’26”?
ОтветитьYou look like the fire fighter from the Johnny cakes episodes of the sopranos
ОтветитьJC did look good though!
ОтветитьTotal agree..BBC is def one of my favorit Insert my little collection..keepin it 4e
ОтветитьGreat video Randy - Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Black Bay ceramic. It looks incredible.
ОтветитьGlamour double date and 925 has exhibition case back too.
ОтветитьThe hybrid strap is a flop. Sticks out as it is so hard. Prices are 50% below RRP for a few months old piece.. gd deal though.
ОтветитьIt's sooo cheeaaapppp! 😱
ОтветитьSounds like a good value. Thanks for the info.
ОтветитьMost watches are not worth buying at retail. Unless you really want to be the first owner buy second hand. You will save tons of money. Most brands outside of Rolex, AP, and Patek lose money and fast. If you buy second hand you don’t take the hit, but you let the first guy take the hit and you take the savings.
ОтветитьThese are not scratches under the lugs. Use some cape cod polish, it should remove everything: this is just some metal left by the springbars.
ОтветитьAfter watching your Tudor review, I now need a ‘Speaker City’ t-shirt. 😂
On a serious note, love the content!
Yacht-Master - good; Back Bay Ceramic - horrible. Swing and a miss Tudor.
Both have black faces and black bezels.
Appreciate the Old School reference with the T-shirt.
ОтветитьLove the 'Old School' Shirt!!!
Ответитьhad this watch and loved the look but what killed it for me is the crazy thickness on a 3 hander watch, why tudor why so thick at 14.4, thats chronograph thickness!
ОтветитьLet's face it... Tudor, Rolex, Omega... Do they Really cost That much?
ОтветитьI have had a BB Ceramic for over 2 years now. Bought at retail for $4,800ish. They held their value for while due to low supply. Sometime last year Tudor opened new METAS production capability and the used values tanked. Its a phenomenal value at $3,500. I have been very happy with mine and love it for what it really is.......a watch made more for style than function. Its not a tool watch. It fits a niche in my collection as the only ceramic and only all black watch. I also like the technology baked-in. I enjoy wearing it. Its light and comfortable and wears a lot smaller than my BB GMT. Here is a tip.....the stock rubber/leather (fake?) strap does not work well under shirt or jacket cuffs....its too think, sticks to cuffs and is uncomfortable. The tail also sticks out too far. I bought a dark grey alcantara strap that works perfectly and makes the watch wear smaller. If shopping used, I would not pay a premium for a pristine stock strap, and, instead, save the money for a couple new aftermarket straps of your choosing.
ОтветитьI really thought The Ranger was going to be the subject of the video. The ceramic BB is chef kiss
ОтветитьWould not a Pelagos ceramic make more sense?
ОтветитьI just hate the straps. If they made a new t fit clasp rubber strap like on the BB41 but blacked it out it would be awesome.
ОтветитьHow do I buy i the secondary market without getting ripped off
ОтветитьIt’s weird this is so cheap seeing as it uses a more expensive case material and also has a METAS movement…
ОтветитьBecause it's butt-ugly, IMO.
ОтветитьAwesome video! Do some Tag Heuer reviews please !
ОтветитьThe blue dial ceramic just came out. I wonder how it will hold up in value.
ОтветитьIt would have been cool if the bezel pip was red. Plus if the numbers on the bezel was red one could actually read it…
ОтветитьNo longer cheap watch man
ОтветитьGreat Review Randy! The Black Ceramic is possibly the first Tudor I like enough to purchase. The black on black is a great look!
ОтветитьI think this would have done better if the bezel numerals or the triangle on top was white colored too
ОтветитьThere are at least two further Tudor models that have the exhibition case back, possibly three.
ОтветитьI suspect they will all keep dropping in resell value even Rolex I’m talking another 20 to 30% in the next couple years just a theory they will start to switch hands less ….
ОтветитьThe BB Ceramic was my first choice for a ceramic watch until I realized I could get a used Omega Seamaster 300m Titanium and Ceramic with no date for $4500-5500. Definitely was a better option in my specific situation. Both Tudor & Omega are so hard to consider buying retail when the used market is so appealing.
ОтветитьHappy with my gmt opaline 👍🏼got a good deal pre owned
ОтветитьNever been a Tudor fan for over 40 years and counting. Don't find these Rolex wanna be's to be attractive in design. In other words, they are fugly. 'Snowflake' hands... really? Don't understand the obsession with the Black Bay. Bleh. Like the madness for a Moonswatch.
ОтветитьI happen to really like black pvd/dlc watches, and they never hold value, no matter the brand. But that means I can hunt for big discounts for a lot of models I have interest in
ОтветитьIt is the best Tudor if you are looking for one with an illegible bezel...
ОтветитьI love all four of my Tudors. Pelagos date, Pro, BB41, and BB gmt opaline dial. I bought all unworn on Bezel. Saved hundreds
Ответить🔥
ОтветитьOn my wish list, but not first. Lovely to see you online again, Sir. Thank you so much for this content. A really good watch and looks amazing. That ceramic bezel is great.
ОтветитьFomo guy is back
