How to Fix a HP With a Boot Device not Found Hard Disk 3F0 Error Windows 11

It says os boot manager not found. What do i do?

I can’t found the Legacy support option…

Please help me with how to get in the troubleshooting screen, even I've tried F11, Fn+F11, also restarted several times.

I had perfectly used the laptop and had shut down my HP EliteBook 840 g3 Laptop with 256gb SSD, no HDD.
Next morning when I tried to power on the button, this error message showed up in my screen.
Diagonist test passed for memory but when I selected the HDD option error came like no HDD installed.
What other option do you suggest me to fix this problem?
Please kindly help coz i have so imp work on my laptop.

Do you know how to get down to the button without using up and down keys? it doesnt seem to work in BIOS, even the enter key doesn't work

where yours says storage test, mine says hard drive check. i’m comfused

What if your pressing the esc button to get to the menu and its not working

Ive watched tried this several times and with the different setting configurations as mentioned. The computer resets, asks to enter the 4 digit password and hit enter, then loads for a bit, and then returns to the original error screen of boot device not found. Any ideas or suggestions? I need this laptop for work and im literally crying. Its an HP specture if that helps. The settings menu looks to be laid out a little differently than any of the videos ive seen.

Hey. I got this error like 3 or 4 times during last 2 months, and every time while I play some game, like GTA 5 or F1. Do you know why it only happens during playing game. I tested everything, says hdd and other stuff works fine, drivers are up to date as well. Windows 10.

Do you know how to get around a bios password if you’ve forgotten it? Personally this happened to me around a year ago and I haven’t been able to fix it. I’ve tried a couple times but nothing has worked so I’m here. I’ve reset the cmos too… no use

Does it still put your old files in a windows.old folder?
