$140..?! That's a solid $40 kit. Considering inflation, etc., and the fact that it's an official Arduino product, even $50 might seem reasonable, but $140? Hard pass.

Alvik would be an excellent addition to my educational pursuits because it has encoder equipped motors and a load of sensors built in. I would use Alvik to learn how to use encoders on motors, PID, and how to roam around my apartment without bumping into thins. I especially love Alvik's expandability because it means there are limitless ways to expand it and use it to lean new things. I see so many ways I could learn new skills using Alvik! This is the ideal platform for learning! Arduino has hit a home run with Alvik!
