There is no Europe as a continent. Europe is part of Asia. It must be called Western Asia. Europe is invention of western and white supremacists, its only exist in minds but in reality it doesn't exist. European borders are result of racist politicies of West. European borders are divided from Asia because so called "European people" want to think they are superior to Asians, Muslims or Middle Easterns. Europe is a fake continent, European is a fake identity.

The original Turks are from Central Asia, but when they conquered Anatolia they enslaved millions of Europeans and Caucasians, thus changing their appearance. But this does not mean that we will accept them as Europeans at all. The Turks are a strange race, except for the slaves brought from Europe. Why do they have to identify themselves as Asians or Europeans ? They are just Turkish people living with different thoughts and life styles individually.

I, as a non Turkish person, I see everyone in Turkey as Turks, not Western or Asian Turks.

I think Turkey is an Asian country, mainly because they are Turks, originated in Central Asia, afterwards, migranted to what is now called Turkey. You have Ottoman Empire that conquered Eastern Europe and North Africa. Lands do not label them European or Asian, lands are strategic locations for war and comercial.

So people stop saying Asians are conservative and Europeans are liberal.

People really need to define what they mean by "Asian." The continent?!? It's WAY too broad of a category and renders the discussion meaningless. Culturally, Asia should be split into East, Southeast, Central Asia, Mid East, and South Asian as cultures, religions, and history vastly different and often UNRELATED. Really, the only Asian influence on Turkey is CENTRAL Asian but most definitely NOT East Asian or Southeast Asian cultures. Islam ERASED a lot of the traditionally ancient cultures of Turkey, whose people once practiced Shamanism. Islam is NOT an "Asian" religion- it was born out of the Arabian desert.

Asia and Europe are very different. Europe is more scenic and rural. Asia is more vibrant and more diverse. Therefore Turkey, and as well as neighboring Greece, are more Asian than European.

I think we are eurasian

Turkey is a Euroasian country. However, about 3/1 of Turkey's population has Balkan origins, which adds up to nearly 30 million people. This also indicates that Turkey is, at the same time, a European country. That map is wrong, European side of Turkey is not what you showed, when you look at rhe tectonic plates and the geography, fauna, half of Turkey as a land belongs to Europe. So draw a line from Adana to The East black sea Trabzon, the left part is in Europe. It is not the sea what that defines the Europe and asia, but tectonic plates and geography etc.

Turkey is a big country, there are many differences between parts of the country, I would say the west part of Turkey, specially Istanbul, is definitely more European than Asian or Middle eastern.

Turks have one foot in Europe and the other in Asia. They are both Asian and European, and IMO that's a wonderful thing and their greatest strength as a country.
