I've bought mine replica actually before I played. The same day I received it I played with it. I learned the hard way though (more about my replica itself). I'm kinda stubborn and started with a gas blowback replica which isn't super recommended to starting players, and not cheap aswell. But I have fun in modifying and learning about my replica, which personally in my opinion is also great to learn in maintenance, how to upgrade etc. My replica is almost as I want it to be and ready to hit the fields soon again. :)
