I know intent is to find a big. But can’t sleep on the possibility AR for Jalen Suggs as a trade idea. For fit, Jalen Suggs would be a better pairing with Luka.

This kinda felt like over analyzing for a team that I’m sure the lakers aren’t even looking at when it comes to trades…..wasting my screen time with this one.

I’ve been promoting a while now - Reaves for Harris, Goga, and their two firsts this year. Then send Harris, Kleber, and one of the firsts to Chicago for Ayo and Jalen Smith. Gives us a pretty good Austin replacement, two capable centers, AND an almost lottery pick to give us more young cost controlled talent.

I would keep Hayes but as a backup tbh. I would mainly focus on replacing Rui for a better fitting 37D wing that starters next to Luka, Reaves and Bron. Only way im trading for a backup is if one we can also get another rotation piece in the deal or two, Hayes 100% doesn't comeback which according to him, is still a chance that he may comeback (via himself)

JSM you hit nail on head here. Wendell Carter Jr and Gary Harris for Vincent Milton and Knecht 2nd. WCJR Checks the box and Gary brings good depth with 2nd team. Sign Hayes just a little over vet min. Draft a C. Then on to other trades. *Would u trade in a package trade AR15 Jonathan Isaac?

I agree on trading Rui. I think a lot of fans need to about the apron and stop trying to trade Knecht, there's much better options on our team of higher value if Orlando wants three point shooters. If the Magic want a 3 point shooter, trade them Rui, he's a 19M expiring and is currently a great three point shooter that is Playoff tested and still in his 20s and has a higher value and we can get more for him while Knecht is still on a rookie contract with high upside.

If the Lakers are in talks with the Magic I'd be honestly fine with taking their draft picks in this years draft if they are available. If they are looking to make the "next steps" for their team and aren't looking to draft, I'd give them Rui, I'd give them DFS, I'd give them our future pick swaps and Gabe in addition to all that, and see if they'd be willing to give us their middle and late 1st. If they throw in Goga I'd be fine with that too but I don't think they'd give us both picks and Goga for all that, they'd ask for Reaves then.

What people don't understand is DK doesn't make a lot of money so he's only good for a sweetener. Your best value is to trade expiring contracts like AR or Rui. I think you will get more in return for AR. It really just depends on if the Lakers are just trying to get through LeBron's last year. Maybe they're willing to pay are more money and let LeBron go. Just depends on the mindset. I do like the idea of Boba. Personally i would keep DK because he is out playing his contract. JJ doesn't seem to like him for some reason

The problem with Wendell Carter Jr. is his injuries and he regressed a lot. He was looking to be like a 15-10 guy and then he regressed into single digits everywhere.

Pass on KCP. 32 yo, old, looks like age is getting to him. He always shrink when you need him.

What about a three team trade involving lakers/utah/magic? Sending Dalton/Reaves/Rui to Orlando. Orlando sending draft picks and players to Utah and Utah sending Kessler/Collin’s to lakers. With lakers also sending out there unprotected 1st to Utah.
