Bloody hell, mate, I have never seen one cut like this, that is so much easier than what I've been doin'. Cheers.
ОтветитьThank you! I ddint do it very well an dcut off too much of the top but I still kinda did it 🥲 also I'm rlly glad the vid is quick and easy and doesn't explain too much but explains enough and shows it really easily

Ответитьvery cool !! thank you...
ОтветитьGreat information. I have some green peppers that I was going to cut up. I’m gonna try your way. Thank you for posting.
Ответитьbrillant
ОтветитьThanks man
ОтветитьI became a pro at cutting peppers in just 1 minute lol. Thank you
ОтветитьThank you!!!
ОтветитьCan u freeze peppers
ОтветитьThis is quicker then Gordon ramsay
ОтветитьThis is a great technique for culinary aesthetics, but with as much as these peppers cost, I'm going to eat everything except for the stem and seeds. Cut in half from the top, remove stem and seeds. And literally just pull them out with your fingers
ОтветитьI'm kicking myself for not thinking of this earlier. Lifesaver!
ОтветитьThank you for the quick, to the point video. Greetings from North Michigan USA.
ОтветитьThis is what I bought a "food processor" for..... not trying to insult, I'm just saying
We all have our preferences as to how we do things but I can assure ya.....
You stick to your way, I'll stick to mine and I'll SHOW YOU THE FASTEST WAY !
nice vid. i usually just bust the top out with my thumb, shake out the seeds, and whammo - start slicing :D
Ответитьgreat idea ! i have a ton of bell peppers to freeze .so I am going to try to stack them up so i can chop 5 or more at a time! thank you!
ОтветитьDude, the peppers I bought were nowhere near that symmetrical...
ОтветитьNeeded this for a Hello Fresh recipe. Thank you!

Ответить😎 cool
ОтветитьOMG thank you ive struggled for years with this..you just made my life easier
ОтветитьYou can cut in half and remove the white parts with hand. Don't use a knife for finger parts
ОтветитьNo
ОтветитьTHANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! REAL QUICK AND EASY!
ОтветитьWhy did I never think of looking online for this before. Could have saved me so much time
ОтветитьPerfect.
ОтветитьThe Gordon Ramsay method is even easier.
ОтветитьThank you for using the TOP and the BOTTOM of the pepper. Nothing wasted.
ОтветитьThank you!!!
ОтветитьI like how you are using as much of the peppers as possible. Just watched Gordon Ramsay and the way he cuts them if fast but wasteful.
ОтветитьGreat video, helpful tips! Thank you!!
ОтветитьMuch better than gordon ramseys method
ОтветитьTy
ОтветитьWho else is watching this because you work at a restaurant and wanted to find the best way to get prepping out of the way
Ответитьnice thanks it was great Demonstration
ОтветитьBrother, there’s no N in capsicuM lol
ОтветитьYou dissected a bell pepper. Sir.. you literally went inside-out versus outside-in. That was different 😂
ОтветитьHoly heck, this is great! Thanks for the tip!
ОтветитьHoly heck, this is great! Thanks for the tip!
ОтветитьWho TF taught this clown how to hold a knife? This is a video for idiots.
ОтветитьThis is fabulous! I've cooked for 40 years, and never had a good way to clean bell peppers. Saw this, and had a "doh!" moment, realizing it's completely logical. My old way got me curved pieces, very hard to fry nicely. This method gets me flat pieces, very easy to fry! Then I got to thinking, with it being flat, what about roasting? With a gas range, burning the skin is easy, with tongs over the flame. I have an electric oven.
I've watched the various ways to roast bell peppers, and none of them make sense. I've used halves, even quarters under a broiler, and whatever isn't under the flame doesn't char. Roasting with high heat takes WAY too long!
I cleaned a green pepper this way, flattened it, and didn't bother to even cut the strip in half. Just put it flat on some non-stick foil (on a sheet pan), and added the two ends (face down for all of it, skin side up). Broiled 1 level above middle, under HI broil. 4 minutes, turned the pan, 4 minutes, turned the pan, and 3 minutes. 11 minutes total. ALL the skin had browned and puckered! I put it all in a glass bowl, covered with plastic wrap, and let sit for 15 minutes to cool, then pulled off the skin. WOAH!!!! This is the easiest roasting and cleaning I've Ever done!!
Thank you very much for the video! I don't fret about any bell peppers anymore, and I'm actually excited about getting back to roasting! And remember, folks, roasted peppers with the skin removed can be frozen! They'll last a long time, and can be thawed and ready to use. Think Italian sausage sandwich with roasted green pepper slices, and mozzarella cheese! But hey...27 minutes for roasted peppers? (1 minute to clean them), it's Good Times all around.
No BS, no cringey attempts at jokes, very clear instructions and video. This is going in my "cooking" playlist!
Also I never knew you could pop the stem out like that!
Tip: Sometimes it is better to cut on the skin first.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьAwesome 😎
