The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Platinum Hybrid Max Is A Near Perfect Family SUV

The timing worked out well because we will be posting two full reviews on the 2024 Lexus TX 500h and TX 550h+ on Weds, which most of you should know, is the Lexus equivalent of the Grand Highlander. Outside is ugly typical Toyota but the car to me is a big r4, no side bars? This door handles should change by now, can we be able to use the side cameras like the Kia when we about to turn? Can the back door open with the legs? Window don’t go down like the 4Runner and the wiper why not in the top and clear the window

Looking to upgrade from our 2022 Highlander hybrid platinum to this model. My one question is why on earth on a vehicle like this is the steering wheel tilt and telescopic not electric?? My 2019 Avalon hybrid limited is all electric and adjusts with the seat modes. For the price, bells and whistles, there shouldn’t be anything manual.

The major thing I would really like to see in the next year is when you use your directional signal that the digital gauge would open up into a view of what is along your side like what is in the KIA's. The side mirrors have a camera in them, and when you use your directional signal, you see what is alongside of you. I personal think it's a fantastic safety feature. I'm still somewhat undecided on what one to get at the end of this year. The Hybrid Max has more HP and plenty of smaller Cargo space VS the Kia Telluride. The Telluride sx prestige & x pro is less expensive.

24 MPG for a huge three row SUV is amazing.

I'm looking forward to purchasing the Lexus GX with this powertrain. It will be interesting to see if they adjust the size of thr turbos for the Lexus GX.

BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU BUY A NEW GRAND HIGHLANDER .Grand Highlander Having a bad sound issue .
I bought a brand new Grand Highlander 2024 and it`s making a booing sound and too much pressure in the cabin and it`s giving me and my family a headache and ear pain. the sound is coming from bottom of the car from the 2nd raw area. I brought it back to the dealership and they said there was a another GH owner also having the same sound issue and they don`t know how to fix the issue .I couldn't drive the car because the sound giving us ear pain and headache. I contact the Toyota customer care many times and they are not doing anything on it. I am really Upset and I never expect something from a trusted brand like Toyota. Now I spend a huge amount of money and I cannot drive the car . The dealership and Toyota don`t know how to solve the issue. so be careful before you buy a Grand Highlander. Do a test drive and make sure there is no such sound on your car because even if you bring it back to fix it ,they don`t know how to fix it .

Does the tank really hold 17gallons or is it like the 2021highlanders and only hold 14 gallons in their supposed 17gallon tank?

I wish you guys could get your information right if you said 201 in the Chevrolet Traverse is 205 inches long as well as the Jeep Grand Cherokee L was his 205 inches long so that would make both of the other two vehicles at least three and a half to 4 in longer than this one

Anyone else thought that Redline was next to a big RAV4 in augmented reality or so? Literally I thought he was reviewing a Rav4 and he was shrunken for some reason

We agree on two points that I have not heard anybody say. One this is a grand RAV4 It is not a Grand Highlander. Two the Grand Highlander looks much better than the Lexus TX. You can see traces of the Land cruiser in the Grand Highlander which is a very good thing.

I watched to see if this would make me regret getting the new Honda Pilot Elite. It's nice, I'd definitely be happy with this, but It definitely did not make me regret my purchase. I love my walk away locks and the removable 2nd row center seat. Still, this is a nice vehicle and great review.

They will not sell 250k highlander and 250k GH. It's going to be 240k GH and 10k highlander.

Nice car but the front grill is unbearably ugly. Exagerated styles tend to not age well; I wouldn't touch it.

I saw it yesterday and was expecting more of a ‘Grand’ appearance, but it wasn’t, it’s just a bigger Highlander. Wish the heads up and cooling second row seats were available more than the Platinum.

My next purchase will be between the highlander or mdx, the one i. choose will depend on how my daughters feel on 3rd r seat

For me, the turbo gives you everything but higher mileage reliability.

These days car trim sounds just like cellphone version😂. But, if a turbo engine can runs on regular gas, i will have to say good job toyota! Hope that won't cost long term issue with is engine

We own a 2021 platinum hybrid. Very similar and we love it but no wireless android auto/Apple car play. Maybe time for an upgrade and we get more space as a bonus. Probably wait until 2025 let them iron out whatever kinks there are in this new platform. We get 35 mpg in town lost 1 mpg when we added tow package.

The toyota 360 degree camera is useless, its the only bummer

Just got Tx yesterday and i love it. Strong enough.

Front side is ugly like a cat fish with a very big mouth gasping for air. I would not buy this car just because of this.
