I love this so much but it makes me so sad how much Mitsuha hates her life, because I've grown up in the city and always wished to live in the countryside. Hopefully one day she'll realise how beautiful nature is and love her home.

Aside from Studio Ghibli films, this is hands down my favorite anime movie. It’s so heart warming and heart breaking, beautifully written with two compelling main characters. When I tell you I SOBBED in this movie, I bawled. It’s such a beautiful beautiful movie that transcends age and time.

Every scene of this movie is a masterpiece 🥺 I literally got goosebumps on most of the scenes especially when it's halflight and Taki and Mitsuha get to meet in person...🥺 This is the most unique love story I have ever seen 😍 and so when Taki found out that Mitsuha died 3 years ago by a comet strike I got goosebumps and nearly cried 😭 and at the end even after forgetting each other's name they managed to meet after 8 years of the itamori incident
