This was the worst way to hold the finals I've ever seen. Bring back the old system. Making some of these riders surf through 2 or 3 full heats and then face off through another 3 heats for the super duper final was silly.

The format is great. But it should be pipeline, it’d be a completely different dynamic

In the wave pool match, there was a judge's misconduct in giving Brazil a low score and giving Colapinto and Ethan unusually high scores. So in the end, justice will prevail, and justice will prevail in Brazil! Colapinto and Ethan are evil!

A. Men sharing the forecast window with the women is making everything worse. You need better surf and surfing for every heat. The sharing thing doesnt work. The men or the women will get skunked - and its ridiculous. You gotta figure this one out. We watch more if its pumping. You can't blame it on nature.
B. Not ending at Pipe. Yeah, testing the top pros at a beginner spot like Trestles? Really?

Im not sure what you guys are after here. I don't think anyone is. You have tons of amazing surfers who work their flipping arsses off and you send their careers into crap surf that becomes a gamble instead of a skill. You do have good playing fields - but the major stink in your game is not ending at Pipe for sure. I hate watching comps in surf that I'd be super comfortable in. Im really bad at surfing compared to those guys too.
