I like the character but he not leading from example by coming into the office as the last individual.

The cool thing is at the end Gene McClary did not have to do what he did. He could have retired and lived very well. But decided to help give other men jobs.

I always thought it would of been cool if they did a Timelapse of the shipyard outside being rebuilt, ships being moved into the bay being built, worker moving around (all CGIed of course). It would of symbolized that they started from the ground up, literally. Never really liked how it just showed the wrecked shipyard. I always felt it was a wasted scenery shot.

In the scene where Bobby tells his wife that he feels he's let her down, what is the lotion that she's rubbing on her legs?

This is a superb story of how corporate money decisions impact people mentally, financially, health and family relationships. Told you are out after busting your butt for years should have a consequence to corporations. Excellent seeing the first customer sailing in at the end to put people back to work.  
The US administration that comes in January 2025 has to energize the ship building, commercial & military, and repair business. Want to ship goods to the US? Then the ships should be built and repaired here.

Bobby’s journey humbled him and Gene redeemed himself by going back to his roots and starting from the ground up with his own business.
