I like the fact that neither opening nor closing is made harder by having to cock the hammers. It is also nice that it can be kept loaded without compressed springs.

I have a 12ga Stoeger Double Defense Over/Under Shotgun with a single trigger, a Trijicon RMR and a Streamlight TLR-1HL light.
I prefer over and under shotguns because of their slim profile.

I've been looking for something like that in 20 GA. My old shoulders can't handle the 12 GA much anymore...

I wanted to thumb you down for choice of music. And you hitting a car already banged up was not as fun as it could have been. Shooting inside the car really does nothing for the viewer.

That is a top breech, I have one that is a side breech. J.J. Weston Side-By-Side Double-Barrel Exposed-Hammers 12 Ga. Shotgun, black powder shells. I hear people say that their has J.J. Weston stamped on it, mine just has J.J, stamped on it with one or 2 other makings, all the other ones I've seen had more marking than mine. also they were all top breech, mine is a side breech ( has a button on the side that open the barrel). I was told it was a 1800's stage coach shotgun, it may have been sawed off at some point in time, but the barrel is still legal length. I had it repaired, but I have never shot it. I don't even have any black powder shells to shoot it.

piked up one at fleet farm about 2 yrs ago, it is good to know they will shoot slugs. (wasn't sure). though they will not accept anything over 3" nor is it suggested to pass steel shot through the barrel. mine does not open nearly as easy as this one, might need to be broken in more. I enjoy it though..

Yeah let me explain one thing about these Chinese shot guns. I own a Norinco which yours is a little cheaper version. You really needed to measure the chokes first with a caliper
To fire a slug out of a shotgun you really need no choke tighter than Improved Cylinder. With a Chinese shotgun with mine a Norinco or yours a JW. I would really forego the slugs. With my Norinco I caliperred the barrels. According to my caliper measurements I have a full choke which I can feel on the left barrel and modified if not improved modified on the right barrel. It's a good sqirell gun. It's a good deer gun with buck shot with either barrel but no way would I trust it for slugs.

Never ever shoot slugs out of a Chinese shotgun or any shotgun. Unless you have one marked for slugs. I mean shit man. A rifled slug is a total 1 plus ounce of lead getting squashed down with a choke toward the end of the barrel in a smooth bore shotgun which is not a rifle.

Did you even read the owner's maual. I have shotguns that specifically stated with interchangeable chokes to not use a full choke for steel shot. Or slugs with any choke tighter than IC.

These Chinese shotguns are cheap for a reason. So don't push them to the very limits. Like I said I have a Norinco. My left barrel is full and my right barrel is is modified or a little tighter like improved modified but measured with a caliper more modified. No way in he'll I would fire a slug out of either barrel. Or steel shot even. But it is one he'll of a squirr shotgun even with the short barrels.

But to be honest you can shoot slugs out of any chokes shotgun for a few times. It's like shooting 5.56 NATO out of a rifle marked .223 Rem. Most times nothing will happen but eventually in the case of a rifle the chamber pressures will weaken the barrel. In the case of a shotgun the muzzle pressures will weaken the barrel. Eventually the barrel will blow out. If the Je is like like a Norinco you aren't even supposed to shoot steel shotout of it. But honestly how many people read owner's manuals? I do.

I recently picked up a Cimarron 1878 Coach gun that looks similar to the JW2000. There’s a few minor differences between them to separate the two. The double triggers and external hammers were requirements I had for a truer coach gun.

How long are the barrels? Are they chocked? Does it eject the shells? how much does it weigh? You didn’t give the info needed.

I have one, I use it in CAS, but I don’t know how many times I will use it because the internal mechanism is actually made of iron bunnies steel... the barrels are good but... and for those who want to improve the mechanics, Don’t tighten the screws too much or it works without triggering the shot...

use a binoculars glasses for a rear sight of a side by side shotgun since it has a bead front sight between the two barrels instead of a monocular sight?
