What makes Buakaw so good is that he starts slow and reads his opponents and begins to add more and more to his combos. He has good movement despite many claiming he doesn't. Buakaw leaning back then countering Enriko Kehls spinning elbow with an elbow himself. If a hook lands he goes with the punch. He did Ali dip and slip in the ring corner frustrating his opponent. He constantly moves his head off the centerline. What makes him so great though is that he isn't flashy. He moves forward throwing very basic strikes until he starts creating openings.
