this was one of the best episodes of television i’ve ever seen
ОтветитьBruh this sh*t was too sad.
Ответить100% heterosexual male here. Love is love, I relate this in my mind to the lady I lost through mostly sure stupidity. She is still the first thing I think about EVERY morning. And the last every night. The song is gut wrenching to me. BTW favorite game of all time, now, favorite series of all time.
ОтветитьThe song fits perfectly with this scene!
ОтветитьAre we sure this isn't Game of Thrones?
ОтветитьThis was my favorite part of the episode. Everything comes full circle. The show of love and dedication between Bill and Frank framed by that shot from the window of Ellie and Joel as they drive away within in it. It beautifully gets across the central theme of love, not only romantic, but in all forms and relationships. Which for the building familial love between Joel and Ellie, Bill and Frank is both a projection and cautionary tale for them going forward. And all of this gotten across with this song and that shot of the window.
ОтветитьI can't not cry at this scene. Wasn't in the game but I'm so glad that it's in the show. This whole episode - just perfection. TLOU forever
Ответить... wait for the Day ...
ОтветитьUm dos melhores episódios da série!!! E de muitas outras que já assisti!
ОтветитьThis is ibe of the greatest tv episodes of all time. It destroys me every time.
ОтветитьThis episode is television history. As a standalone short film, it really should be showered with awards.
ОтветитьWhat the hell of an episode (and I never played the game)
ОтветитьThey're wearing seatbelts!
ОтветитьCried like a baby in the end of the 3rd episode..... Amazing Series, truly a fantastic approach to the real game.
Please bring Season 2 so clean as frist season
No importa el hate que recibió este capítulo, para mi fue uno de los mejores capítulos. Disfrute mucho la historia y el final es otra onda.
ОтветитьThis episode won a DGA (Directors Guild of America) award!
ОтветитьLove how the last shot is the main menu window
ОтветитьHauntingly beautiful
ОтветитьMy favorite song from my favorite singer!
So glad that it will be heard by millions of people who have never heard it before. Linda's music will live forever!
e foi definitivamente com esse episódio que chorei horrores que me convenceu a jogar o game. 😭😭🥰
ОтветитьI love the whole series, but this is the only episode I've watched multiple times❤ definitely award-winning television
ОтветитьHappy 1 year anniversary to this magnificent episode! 🥰🍓
ОтветитьA risadinha do Joel é tudo. Pedro Pascal ainda vai nos matar com tanto sex appel 🥵
ОтветитьI cried watching this scene
ОтветитьI love the show versions of Bill and Frank way more than the game
That’s just me being a hopeless, romantic
💘 💘💘
I loved this season as much as I loved the game. I’m not ready for season 2! Please don’t rush his death drag it out as much as possible, I’m NOT ready!!
ОтветитьCould have been written for Tess
ОтветитьI don't understand that this episode is the 2nd lowest rated of the series on IMDb
ОтветитьOne of the most haunting endings in tv history
ОтветитьGod, i cried SO MUCH with that window open frame
ОтветитьArguably the greatest gay porn I ever watched
ОтветитьAnd they stay in that room for a long long time together.
I want a love like that.
After the Sopranos and the wire very few episodes or shows have reached it but the last of us was a great series and episode 3 hit me in the gut; felt more like a movie than show vibe!🔥👀
ОтветитьThat's what happens when you bring Linda Ronstadt to the scene. Pure magic.
ОтветитьBetween The Last of Us and Ruby Leigh on The Voice 2023, is bringing Linda Ronstadt's voice back in the spotlight for another generation of music lovers
Ruby Leigh, a 16yr old, is on The Voice 2023, and singing For a long, long time, just as beautifully crystal clear perfect as Linda Ronstadt. ❤❤❤
This song was perfect for them ❤
ОтветитьI have listened to this song so much after watching this, and now watching this again after probably a year im like their playing that song i know lol
ОтветитьAmbot. Sakit dalunggan singgit singgit. Kanta Ra gud uy, ayaw ug singgit.
ОтветитьI love that this solidified the fact video game adaptions are taking over: The Last of Us, Super Mario Bros., Five Nights at Freddy's. All KILLED it this year.
ОтветитьThe gay scene here is "WOKE" DONE RIGHT. First, they don't show the weird sides of GLBT (you know, like non binaries, gender identity, etc). Just the plain gay men relationship. Second, they don't teach or force us to accept gay people. They just tell a touching love stories between two men. True, the homophobes will always be homophobes. But the rest of open-minded people will likely be able to accept this scene. And probably shed a tear or two :') err... like I did....
ОтветитьWriters: we need to give Joel a car
Also writers: let's write the best, most emotional side plot of any work of fiction.
I wonder if anything should be read into him say do you know who Linda Ronstadt "is" in a situation where most people we are assuming have all passed.
ОтветитьSo I’m late to the party but wow this episode broke me. Im a lesbian myself, and everything about Bill and Frank’s relationship from the “theres no girl, I know” to growing old and dying together, hit so close to home. I never cry to media, but I’d be lying if I said there weren’t tears streaming down my face. What a beautiful story.
ОтветитьSimply a masterpiece of television, unlikely to be surpassed for a long long time... :)
ОтветитьI’m not sure it’s possible to see the window shot combined with the music and not get the proverbial GBs…
Ответить😭😭😭
Ответитьhere's an off the wall comment: the first few seconds of the video I realized every little thing in the truck made a distinct sound. The chair, the ignition, the engine starting, the rearview mirror, the glovebox, putting the cassette in.
Does anyone else miss the sound of cars? I grew up in the 90's so I started with older cars like this before progressing to the electric smart cars of today. Newer cars barely make any noise, my brother's car is the quietest startup I've ever heard, and with power and electronic everything even buttons are silent.
Idk, something about hearing the old sounds of an old truck elicited some childhood memories of feeling excited to drive to the toy store lol.
I cried hard when i saw this episode for the first time, it was amazing. So beautiful
