We need more manufacturing back in the USA... wait not next to me! People are always complaining about something.
Ответитьtruth is, no one wants electric cars, and they are built by robots anyway, so you wont see job opportunity’s like they promised.
ОтветитьWe need Chip plants…. Not EV plants.
Ответить‘N when are you going to bring the cheap laborer from China?😅
ОтветитьThat Netflix documentary called "American Factory", is this what they were talking about?
ОтветитьIt's. Not only the south its all state out side does state with big city a d high cost of living. . Its amazing.
ОтветитьToo expensive. Unlike china.
Ответить☀️
ОтветитьLeave it to the GOP to flood in Migrants to drive down wages
ОтветитьNo union
ОтветитьKinda disingenuous to talk about the auto manufacturing boom in the South without mentioning union labor.
ОтветитьIndustrialization's problems can be minimized with long term-oriented planning. But the net effect is massively positive. America needs to manufacture things again.
ОтветитьHey people!! Use the magnetic versions of gasless and oiless self running generators in EVs and everything else. Use 3d printing tech for mostly all residences. Use millions of law enforcement drones and robots to quickly secure everywhere at the same time. We already have the tech needed to go beyond all our issues. We just have to stop letting this corrupt government get in everyone's way!!! It's already been 25 years!!!! Wale up humanity!!!!
ОтветитьPeter Zeihan: HEAVY BREATHING.
ОтветитьAmericans are never politically happy with things. They want things but when they get things they dont want the change. Make up your minds jfc
ОтветитьFactory buildings have no value if everyone is not making at least $33/Hour and up called a livable wage
ОтветитьAn EV plant in South Carolina? Hasn't anyone noticed that the EV has been rejected and deemed unrealistic? Existing automakers are shutting down their EV programs because the public isn't buying them. The Biden Administration hasn't erected ONE EV charging center anywhere in the U.S. There is no plan for creating the required additional electricity. This is madness.
ОтветитьYes, but at what cost?
ОтветитьVery informative. Thank you!
ОтветитьEstados Unidos solo vive de las subvenciones a las empresas. Al final terminara haciendo un daño a la competitividad de estas fuera del pais
Ответитьwhat a waste of money on something that is a peace of junk they just keep wasting money on them EV
ОтветитьIn order to benefit corporations from economies of scale, mega projects result in the deterioration of environments and communities. The corporations save money for themselves but it's the community that pays in ways that those savings do not compensate for.
Requiring a slightly greater outlay, spreading production in smaller facilities between a number of different towns and cities would benefit them with less immediate disruption and preserve the important features of established communities. It may be necessary to place planning limits on new factories to balance development with conservation.
All that to build automobiles that nobody wants and very few can afford.
Seems wise 👍
The price... 33 TRILLION. That's the price.
ОтветитьEven without the chaotic trade war with China, this was going to happen anyway.
ОтветитьThey sound alot like West Point, GA where the Kia plant is located. There was big excitement about growth and housing which did not come like everybody thought it would. Things are starting to grow after 15 years but it is slow.
ОтветитьWhy the south, no union =low pay and no rights.
What about all the tax cuts these rich companies received? Side note the counties went up on people's taxes to cover this. It's a transfer of wealth to the rich. House prices will skyrocket going up on taxes even more. Punishing the elderly.
Hyundai is notorious for low pay temp jobs.
Semi-conductors? Yes. Electric vehicles? No. One has a guaranteed future demand. The other does not. If you’re town is going through a land boom because of an electric car plant being built, sell your house and the land and take the money and run because the electric car industry is very speculative and tenuous.
ОтветитьThank you President Biden. The most "America First" President we've had in a generation. Don't live there now but I am from Savannah and know these small towns surrounding her. These are goad jobs that pay an upper middle class salary.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьI hate that the government is paying these guys to build. When it doesn't turn a profit, only the taxpayers will lose out.
ОтветитьWait us americans complain about lack of jobs?
ОтветитьBuild Back Better.
ОтветитьAmerican made products are superior to all others
ОтветитьYou want more "Made in America" so thats the price.
ОтветитьGet that baby built
ОтветитьWe are going to end up like every defunct country that has plunged into massive debt.
Ответитьand people still want to ellect Orange ballon ? why ?
ОтветитьI've heard USA have homeless crisis specially in California, This could be a great opportunity for them to get a job or they can't meet the criteria?
ОтветитьIt's amazing how people in the u.s.a are against their own corporations. 😂😂😂😂😂 imbeciles.
ОтветитьThis is just so wrong government directing the economy.
Solyndra Solar to Ford F 150 Lighting
The US would halt some of its projects just only to fund Isreal…
ОтветитьWould be great if it weren't wrapped around an idea built on a declaration to completely dominate the auto industry (electric) of which in the end, its only contribution will be the total decimation of every functioning automobile, leaving behind nothing but a useless ill-conceived auto in its place. Get ready to NEVER have auto reliability and independence ever again.
ОтветитьBring the jobs back home and stop feeding the Chinese War Machine.
ОтветитьBuild multiple level with easy access to transportation … buses, trains, etc. avoid 1 hour drive on freeways mentality. Instead of individual residential lots, build medium high rise condos and leave the rest to nature, forests, meadows, creeks, etc,
ОтветитьWarehouses are not factories. They are warehousing …. I think, finished products.
ОтветитьGeez all kinds of languages. Hard to follow
ОтветитьALL OF THIS WILL FAIL. AMERICA IS TOO FAR BEHIND CHINA & AMERICA PRICES CANT COMPETE WITH CHINA LOW PRICES.
ОтветитьAt last! Investment, higher employment and wages will restore America to its rightful place. Short sighted year on year profit increases that have driven jobs off shore or reduced income are the root of all the problems in America. Stabilising towns and cities across America will see crime and homelessness go down dramatically. Everyone must understand that with America manufacturing higher quality products and better wages comes higher prices, it’s inevitable, but this will put more money into local economies resulting in social stability.
