I'm struggling to run the game on 16gb ram with an amd rx 570 so I'm going to give this a shot to make the game run smoother

I will try this out with my 1050ti, I know it won't run the smoothest, but as long as it looks a bit good and runs 30+ most of the time i will be happy

You should try it on act 2 or act 3. That is where the real problem starts. It's as if one act has different recommended spec to each other, it's crazy how unoptimize the game are

I tried unchecking run as admin
My gpu drivers are updated
I ran from direct bin
It just crashes randomly after a few minutes, i sitll manage to progress but still annoying and i can run the game at max graphics just fine, i did tried lowering graphics rho

I have a gtx 1060 6 gb vram, would this be considered as old gpu, and if so I should use Directx 11? By that I won't be able to use FSR 2.2 mod then?

Hey, the FSR mod does not work for me. The toggle simply does not show up in the game settings.

The latest CyberFSR has terrible ghosting issue. I recommend installing 0.8.0-beta2 instead. Even this version has some ghosting, but less intense.

Didn’t watch the whole video, did you try closing the Larian launcher after launch? Seen some discussions about it helping with performance, specifically stutter.

This is a Comprehensive Optimization Guide for the newly released Baldur's Gate 3. Despite the game performing well, we can extract some more performance by some tweaking. It is also possible to enable FSR 2 (it will be eventually added as developers said), via a Mod that was also working in Cyberpunk 2077 (it might cause crashes and instability!).
