How do you keep your rhythm playing funky fresh? 💥
ОтветитьCory is a very good teacher..
ОтветитьIs there too much information?
ОтветитьAwesome video with some great advice.
ОтветитьI like tip # 3. I've been trying to get thru a James Brown funk tune, whereas the guitarist plays the same rhythm for the entire tune. I'm not there yet. I always find myself wandering off.
ОтветитьToo much hype for this guy.
ОтветитьEveryone needs to see this video
Ответитьgreat info thankyou!!!!!!!!
Ответить🤯I just knew this guy was British.
ОтветитьWhat I noticed more than anything was the fluid, loose movement of your right wrist that gives such punch to your rhythms. Master class.
ОтветитьGreat lesson thanks
ОтветитьWhat amp is that?
ОтветитьOnly three?
Guirarists need to make dozen of mistakes to be good.
Tons more to be great.
Most of the time it's enough to be dependable.
Nobody ever told her it's the Wong Way - Sublime
ОтветитьPure wisdom!
ОтветитьSurely this guy’s strum hand was not trained on the guitar.
ОтветитьFantastic musician and excellent insights here.
ОтветитьBrilliant......👍
ОтветитьThat right hand wrist motion is inhuman. He just kinda flails it perfectly, it is incredible.
ОтветитьExcellent advice. I was just thinking of these exact things earlier today. People underestimate the importance of a good rhythm hand.
ОтветитьThis is GOLD. Thank you Cory and Sweetwater!
ОтветитьFantastic.
ОтветитьA great player I knoew has always said ignore the leftt hand that will come but the right hand is the absolute key. brilliant lesson !!
ОтветитьWhat a fekkin' great lesson!!! superb playing as well!!!
Ответитьmistake 4, action too low having notes buzzing all the time killing clarity and note separation.
Ответитьcan u tell me some details about ur guitar it sounds awesome, i have the same Fender stratos like urs with two strings tree but really i cant find if its original or faked .
ОтветитьNow I know what voicing is.
ОтветитьThe theme of the whole video was summed up brilliantly by Wrecking Crew guitar legend Louie Shelton. When Larry Carlton asked him how he crafted such perfect parts, he told Larry: "I don't think like a guitar player, I think like an arranger."
ОтветитьYou have to compromise on how many strings you’re playing on the guitar because you have TWO keyboard players? …Eeeeh.. Well, I’d say there is an obvious solution to this problem, don’t you think? 😂
ОтветитьGood advice !!
ОтветитьSmart guy, good communicator, great player...very nice to see great young guys like him coming up.
Ответитьneed this video but piano comping version...
ОтветитьThis video is so high-yield
ОтветитьDave Grohl said that when he plays his guitar he also plays it as his drum set. That's what I'm getting from you. Made me a better guitar player. A better rhythm guitar player.
ОтветитьSilly Cory, I never make miskates.
ОтветитьHighly informative! And your technique is really awesome too!👍
ОтветитьMini chords can't be understated. Thinking of Rick Derringer's Rock and Roll Hoochie Coo during the verse.
ОтветитьLet's all go to school. Deal with your EGO. Nice contract
Ответитьam i in a band? no. Do i play guitar? no. Did I still watch this? Yes!
ОтветитьYou're doing it wong.
ОтветитьAnyone else think his right hand looks like he is hitting a Stratocaster with a dead octopus?
ОтветитьHis right hand looks like a hummingbird holy crap...
ОтветитьCorey: great tips for the sound enginners too, like me pal, so thanks
ОтветитьVery good advice on the voicing; I can absolutely notice a difference. To be fair, I play mostly metal through a very high gain amplifier with an additional OD pedal pushing the mids in the front. That being said though, from my experience, gain and distortion have to be utilized correctly and wisely when considering the voicings, because the more notes you add, the crazier the tone can get. It loses that edge; that definition and punch that heavy music is built on. Praise be to power chords LOL
ОтветитьYour wrist broken?
Ответитьthat is a gorgeous guitar
ОтветитьCory has a great right hand .
ОтветитьMind-boggling rhythm chops. Love it
ОтветитьO my God,what a punching onthe strings, O wonderful.
Ответить
